This role leads the configuration, improvement, support, and maintenance of Estes Salesforce instance and performs a combination of technical management, system administrator, and Salesforce analyst activities.

  • Serve as a system administrator for a Salesforce org with 700+ users, multiple apps (Sales, Service, Pardot), and several external integrations.
  • Provide architecture and design guidance to project teams developing BPM solutions using Salesforce.
  • Provide thought-leadership across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements.
  • Responsible for Platform health strategy and act as a Subject Matter Expert to assist infrastructure team in creating a plan to execute strategy and monitor success. This would include a strategy for handling the 3 annual Salesforce major release updates and release update patches.
  • Develop and demonstrate an advanced knowledge of Salesforce Architecture and Lightning Experience design and implementation features.
  • Accountable for ensuring the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution meets the desired goals and objectives.
  • Works in conjunction with Program/Project Manager to size, manage scope and risk.
  • Diagnose and resolve unexpected issues or results. Recommend solutions or alternative methods to meet requirements.
  • Evaluate, scope, and execute new development requests through engagement with stakeholders and partner application teams.
  • Maintain org performance and health by monitoring usage against system limits and usage-based entitlements (data storage, flow interviews, etc.) and measuring Lightning Experience Performance and Experienced Page Time (EPT).
  • Serve as liaison between Salesforce Success team and Estes stakeholders and development teams
  • Resolve issues escalated internally or externally and work with Estes business partners to ensure timely resolution. Responsible for maintenance and enhancement of positive working relationships.
  • Mentors other team members to develop their understanding, skills, and knowledge of the Salesforce Platform. Advise development team on best practices for the platform.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • 5+ years of IT experience with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS.
  • 3 years’ experience in design and implementation Salesforce-based solutions, including leadership role in design and development of shared/resusable components and workflows within Sales.
  • 2 years’ experience Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud administration or development.
  • Previous experience as a lead developing customer-facing interfaces. Experience in Web technologies and hands on experience in developing web applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platform and Lightning Design System
  • Expertise and good understanding of Relational Database Management. Data management, modeling experience.
  • Proficiency with Aura Lighting Framework, Lightning Web Components, Apex & VisualForce Frameworks, Salesforce Object Query Language, SQL, Web services.
  • Experienced and proficient with MS Office Suite of products.
  • Proven coaching, team building and project management experience.
  • Proven problem identification, root cause analysis and resolution skills.
  • Strong experience and understanding of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
  • Experience with agile experience methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe frameworks.
  • Strong experience scoping, planning, and delivering projects using iterative software development lifecycles over multiple release cycles.
  • Experience with offshore-managed services.
  • Must be self- directed with strong analytical, problem solving, and strong listening, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills with the ability to connect with stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Salesforce Administrator or Developer certification preferred
  • Pardot/Marketing Cloud experience preferred
  • Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
  • Must be able to interact well with others
  • Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
  • Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
  • Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
