The Role and the Team
We continually seek to improve and optimize our sales, service, marketing and revenue experience. In this role you will work with cross-functional teams (Product Engineering, Sales, Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations, etc.) to design, develop and deploy solutions within Salesforce to users throughout our company, as well as to our customers.
Create and enhance our Sales, Service, and Support portals for Proofpoint’s customers
Collaborate on cross-functional projects deliver functional, well-tested solutions
Work with the Salesforce Administration, Operations and QA teams to verify features and functionality
Utilize best practices in planning, designing, developing, and testing your solutions
Triage and troubleshoot reported issues
Expand your knowledge of Salesforce and business applications at Proofpoint
What you bring
Excellent communication, both written and verbal, within and across teams
Experience with Salesforce Security (OWD, Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, SSO, Shield)
Experience designing, developing and consuming Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming)
Experience with Salesforce CPQ is a plus
Experience with Visual Studio Code (or equivalent IDEs), git and CI/CD practices
1+ years of hands-on experience with an OO Language such as Java (C++ is a plus)
Experience integrating with external APIs/API Gateways (AWS CloudFormation, MuleSoft, Boomi) a plus
Expertise troubleshooting within Salesforce (Debug Logs, Flow Errors, CPU/SOQL limits)
