- Provide technical guidance to the development of Salesforce applications to support business strategies
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform
- Be a credible subject matter expert for the organization on business processes and their alignment to Salesforce solutions
- Look for synergies between various SaaS product offerings in terms of application and infrastructure and offer guidance in utilization
- Develop and maintain best practices and standards supporting the platform and drive adoption
- Responsible for understanding and assessing a specific function’s business operations, identifying issues and opportunities and recommending appropriate solutions
- Ensure proper translation of business requirements into a set of structured business process, knowledge, technology, and organization specifications that satisfy the organization’s strategic and operational objectives
- Persuade senior managers of the benefits of change in situations where there is significant resistance, and likely disruption to business
- Act as expert point of escalation for issues related to the platform
- Meet with Salesforce Admin regularly to analyze and prioritize Requests
- Support and engage with Salesforce Champions (key users) Committee and Steering Committee
- Identify best practices and client performance gaps
- Ensure proper handover and translation into business processesQualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Admin
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
- Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant preferred
- Project management certification preferred
Experience:
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a specific functional business environment and related IT systems
- 5+ years of implementation experience, including development, across the full software development lifecycle
- 3+ years of experience in an Architect Role
- Proficient with Salesforce approval processes, process builder and flows.
- Strong background in design and development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software development lifecycle
- Pardot experience preferred
- Experience with ETL tools
- Experience with highly complex projects/programs
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of lean process/continuous improvement initiatives
- Expert understanding of the Salesforce product suite
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Solid experience in data modeling concepts and tools
- Ability to mine data, assemble dashboards to chart performance trends and recommend strategies to optimize results
- Ability to work well with others, promoting healthy relationships and building strong team dynamics by positively influencing others
- Ability to work effectively as a consultant in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop business cases and ensure realization of cases after approval
- Ability to identify areas of opportunity and provide creative solutions that benefit the group/organization
- Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities in a professional manner
- Verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express or present complex technical concepts in business terms to various audiences in a concise and easily understandable manner
- Self-starter—demonstrates consistent initiative and ability to accomplish tasks independently
- Analytical, decision support and strategic thinking skills
- Leadership skills; Mentors and works closely with Salesforce Admin;
- Organizational skills; must have ability to effectively balance multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a self-directed and detailed manner
- Negotiation skills
- Proficient/advanced skills in Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and data sorting; also proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
