Salesforce Administrator

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the administration of an enterprise deployment of Salesforce Sales Cloud. This position will also be a hands-on salesforce analyst, translating business requirements into well architected solutions using the salesforce platform. The ability to work in an agile environment, using quick POC’s to demonstrate capabilities will be essential.

We are seeking a highly productive self-starter to collaborate with project management, sales, and functional leaders within the business to streamline processes and bring value to the business. The ideal candidate will have experience with Lightning, exceptional technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and comfortable interacting with customers.


Job Requirements:

  • Serve as the primary system administrator for the platform handling all basic administrative functions.
    • Manage profiles, roles, sharing rules, permission sets, and basic user account management.
    • Create and manage reports and dashboards.
    • Configure workflows using flows and process builder.
    • Importing/exporting data, mass data updates, and other routine tasks.
  • Manage and maintain production and sandbox environments, including all integrations and managed packages.
  • Serve as point of contact for issues - reporting, tracking, troubleshooting, fixing, testing and collaborate to implement solution/fix.
  • Test and promote configuration changes using change control and best practices.
  • Provide end-user support and light training
  • Evaluate and manage new releases. Provide insight on new functionality.
  • Work with project management and business users to design and implement improvements to expand the use and value of Salesforce.

Qualifications (education, experience, personal attributes):

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.
  • Ability to determine when to code vs. configure
  • Certified Salesforce Admin with Lightning Sales Cloud experience is required
  • Demonstrated experience using automation tools (configuring workflow rules, using process builder and working with complex flows)
  • Strong reporting and dashboard skills, working with large amounts of data, formulas and custom report types.
  • Experience importing data in and out of Salesforce.
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Exposure to Conga Grid App a plus
  • Strong organization and interpersonal skills combined with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work independently or in a team atmosphere balancing shifting workloads and priorities.
  • Demonstrates an aptitude for continuous learning and personal development.
