We’re looking for a Salesforce Administrator who’ll lead the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com Sales Cloud environment, which is 20+ years old. (We were early adopters of Salesforce and we are upgrading to Salesforce Lightening. The ideal candidate will be familiar with this effort. This role will work closely with functional leaders to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes. Must be comfortable serving as a technical project manager and administrator.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 300+ North American users.
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, report maintenance/creation and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
  • Complete regular internal system audits and keep up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.
  • Manage the transition to Salesforce Lightning.
  • Focus on user efficiencies, solving business/customer issues, invent creative solutions, and ensure data accuracy across the system.
  • Partner with global business stakeholders to proactively identify, drive, and build improvements, enhancements, and system customization that solve critical business needs.
  • Roadmap development and prioritization in partnership with the business team and stakeholders.
  • Partners with IT and the application vendor to resolve technical issues, drive new enhancements, manage data loads, and install and support of app exchange applications.
  • Assist in training new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.
  • Responsible for the administration of Avis Budget Group’s Business Intelligence customer portal.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator.
  • 5+ years Salesforce administration experience.
  • Salesforce Lightning migration, implementations and design experience.
  • 2+ years of Salesforce CPQ experience.

Skills and abilities you should have:

  • Understanding of Visualforce, Lightning Components, APEX, Apex Callouts, and Web Services
  • Mastery of all parts of Salesforce’s configuration space, including native and custom objects, page layouts, validation rules, workflows, alerts, process builder actions, 3rd-party technology integrations, user management, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settings
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Strong research skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Requires excellent analytical ability, creative skills, a high attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Proven ability to support customers with diverse requirements.
