Overview:  The Salesforce Developer I will be part of the Dealer Services business team providing business application solutions to enhance dealers' experience while doing business with GM Financial. Day to day activities will involve developing on the Salesforce.com platform, creating VisualForce Pages/Apex Classes and providing technical documentation. The Salesforce Developer I is expected to perform day to day activities while staying in compliance according to corporate standards and maintaining professionalism at all times. Responsibilities:  JOB DUTIES
  •  Research various internal requests to determine appropriate course of action and follow through to resolution
  •  Maintain thorough understanding of data and information resources and technical requirement documentation
  •  Provide ongoing technical support of existing integrated Salesforce applications
  •  Analyze and identify technical needs within Salesforce
  •  Develop enhancements to Salesforcecom and related systems and utilize technical aspects within Salesforce such as Apex triggers, classes and batch jobs
  •  Website integration
  •  Conduct technical process, design and build reviews with the superiors
  •  Design and develop solutions in Visualforce and Apex
  •  Help team achieve technical objectives relevant to implementation, design for specifications, and assist technical architecture meetings
  •  Meet expectations and deliverables on time
  •  Be a self-starter and operate as an individual for quick turnaround of enhancements and fixes
  •  Perform other duties as assigned
  •  Conform with all company policies and procedures Qualifications: 
 Knowledge
  •  Knowledge of underwriting and contract funding processes, policies, and guidelines
  •  Knowledge of account management systems, primarily Provenir and CPW
  •  Working knowledge of effective fraud investigation/verification processes, tools, and resources
  •  Knowledge of Lexis Nexis, Instant ID, Challenge Questions, SSA-89 Forms, 4506-T Forms and PACER
  •  Working knowledge OFAC Report and Credit Bureau reporting
  •  Understanding of effective detection, investigation, and resolution of consumer fraud-related matters
  •  Advanced knowledge of communications principles and practices
  •  Must understand and embrace the principles of GM Financial
  •  Working knowledge of the administration and development of Salesforce.com SPI and Apex
  •  Working knowledge of retail and lease origination and funding systems
  •  Must have a good understanding of Dealer Service’s operations
  •  Understanding of systems that cover GM Financial's entire branch and funding operations
  •  Working knowledge of reporting systems and languages to include SQL and SAS
 Skills
  •  Ability to manage assigned tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision
  •  Strong oral and written communication skills
  •  Understanding of auto finance industry loan operations
  •  Ability to interpret consumer credit bureau reports
  •  Advanced analytical skills
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stressful situations
  •  Ability to interpret corresponding credit activity as an effective investigatory resource
  •  Good Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project Management skills
  •  Detail oriented with a keen focus on accuracy and effective reporting
  •  Ability to select, lead, evaluate, and develop employees
  •  Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers
  •  Good knowledge of Access
  •  Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles
 Education
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or related field; or 5 years of equivalent experience required
 Experience
  •  0-4 years of VisualForce/Apex development required
  •  0-4 years of Salesforce.com experience required
  •  2-3 years of professional object oriented programming experience or college experience equivalent required
  •  2-3 years of professional web development experience or college experience equivalent required
  •  Software development experience required
