Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce.com platform
Participate in technical design sessions; develop detailed technical solution documentation that is aligned with business objectives
Develop, test, and document working custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce.com implementation
Develop scalable and enterprise solutions & interfaces leveraging Salesforce platform components such as Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
Participate in code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used
Provide detailed estimates and work breakdowns for assigned tasks to support our Agile practices
Build and maintain APIs and integrations with a large number of other business applications
Ensure that our cloud-based business system architecture runs as smooth as silk
Be part of an IT team that gets the job done with style and humor

Requirements:
Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is highly desired
5+ years of experience programming on the Salesforce platform
Experience implementing or developing the Salesforce CPQ module, Steelbrick preferred
Deep understanding of the Salesforce.com product suite including Sales Cloud, Platform, and the Appexchange
Extensive development experience with Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning, Batch Apex, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and other programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform
Mid-Level SQL skills in a modern relational database (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Berkeley DB, etc.)
Firm understanding of advanced design patterns and engineering best practices
Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
Background in development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle
An effective communicator that works well in a collaborative team setting
Natural problem solver who enjoys identifying ways to improve our customer's overall experience
Deliver ideas and solutions to many audiences including your team and IT leadership
BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Experience with developing web services messaging and business logic layer (SOAP, RESTful, GraphQL is plus) and familiarity transforming and building XML, WSDLs, and JSON is a plus.
Prior experience in SaaS or subscription-based companies is a plus
