The Senior Application Owner for Saleforce is responsible for managing an application(s) to ensure the Salesforce application supports one or many functions and is compliant with regulations with an agile framework. The Senior Application Owner understands the business needs and works with Application Support to implement changes, modifications, and enhancements. Working with a team the Senior Application Owner documents business requirements, statements of work, business case, and project costs for approval.
  • Develops and co-manages a road map that supports the needs of the line of business(es) supported
  • Develops business case justification and project costs for approval
  • Develops policies, procedures, and authority levels
  • Administers test scripts and testing of application changes, modifications and enhancements; adheres to the established change management process
  • Authorizes and work with team to schedule and implement upgrades and changes
  • Understands and complies with vendor management policies and procedures
  • Participates in organizational product meetings and other product meetings as needed
  • Develops plans with Application Support to manage the entire life-cycle of the application(s)Qualifications:
  • 8-12 years of relevant work experience in Product / Application Management throughout the product life-cycle and 3+ years of Project Management
  • 2-4 years Agile project management experience
  • Salesforce experience - In depth knowledge and detailed understanding of Salesforce functionality to drive revenue and improve customer experience
  • Requires ability to resolve complex issues and remove obstacles; ability to establish realistic time-lines, define scope, and manage cost through effective project management, strong verbal and written communication, customer service, organizational time management, and multi-tasking skills
Skills:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills; must be able to do simple math and carry out written instructions
  • Travel to a variety of locations to perform work and/or attend meetings as required
  • Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
  • Must be able to travel regularly from locations to location.
  • Lifting is an office setting may be required up to 30lbs.
