Position Summary: Under the direction of the Digital Banking Manager, the Salesforce Administrator will be the primary driving force to help FIBT marketing, sales, support and IT teams work under a Single Entry Platform model to optimize customers experiences. This individual will work with stakeholders across all divisions of the Bank to define system requirements and to customize the Financial Services & Marketing Cloud platforms.
Critical Responsibilities include the following.
  • Champion the FIBT Salesforce Roadmap & Governance Committee for enterprise-wide deployment. The SFDC Admin will define and build a SFDC Governance Committee that will represent business units of FIBT. This individual will be a key driver in identifying power users, determining what SFDC certifications should be attained in the different arenas. The SFDC Admin will stay updated on the platform’s new tools, capabilities and releases, working with the IT and Development teams to deploy high-priority updates with the Sandbox environment, test the updates and understand how it affects system configurations.
  • Become a trusted advisor and change agent of all things Salesforce.com. Establish and maintain long-lasting relationships with various stakeholders throughout the Bank including business units, technology, risk, legal, audit, compliance operations, treasury management and marketing. Learn bank processes and develop recommendations of change, including cost/benefit analysis, increased productivity, profitability forecasting and decreased operating costs to reinforce the use of SFDC enterprise-wide.
  • Develop the SFDC platform so it is as easy as possible for users of any technical level. In addition to creating a user-friendly tool, the SFDC Admin will be responsible for working with Organizational Development to create a training curriculum for Financial Services Cloud. This individual will be responsible for maintaining an FIBT-specific SFDC playbook that can be referenced for future trainings and also for audit purposes.
  • Diving in and learning how Salesforce can streamline bank processes. Mentor directly with the Digital Solutions Architect to develop a deep understanding not only of our products and services & banking regulations, but how they align with FIB&T standards and culture. Acts as the primary liaison with SFDC and in future vendor partnerships through the AppExchange network.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
  • Maintains the FSC and Marketing Cloud platform, including reviewing new products, services and release of new feature sets. This will include creating, updating and maintaining a quarterly SFDC roadmap and an FIBT rollout roadmap.
  • Develop best practices and a standard operating procedure for the import of new leads and update of existing contact records on a daily basis.
  • Drive the development and execution of FIBT’s deduplication methodology to cleanse and maintain a true Single Source of Truth.
  • Build out intelligent workflows, process builders and validation rules that assist FIBT in becoming a productivity powerhouse.
  • In conjunction with IT, is the gatekeeper of New User Profiles and Access Levels
  • Mentor other SFDC Admins to gain and maintain certification status.
  • Run quarterly database maintenance reports to ensure the health of the SFDC Org. These reports would include APEX tests, field utilization reports, roles reports, discrepant customer data from Core integrations.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Solutions Architect to learn the technical aspects of the Bank’s core and digital solutions, including but not limited to: Premier Navigator, Online/Mobile Banking specification guidelines and ancillary integrated systems.
  • Become a power user of the Bank’s project management software and track all SFDC projects through the software.
  • Actively participate in Digital Team Meetings and strategy sessions, as needed.
  • Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and regulations.

Education and or Experience: Must hold Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science or Business Administration or closely related degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum of three years of Salesforce CRM Platform experience required, with one year of Financial Services Cloud experience desired. A current Salesforce Admin certification is required, with 3-5 years’ business experience, with IT Operations, Project Management, and/or Digital Banking experience preferred. Knowledge of local, state and federal banking regulations recommended. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
