Hearth & Home Technologies (HHT) is hiring a Salesforce Web Developer in Lakeville, MN. This position will be part-time remote and in the office 1-2 days per week.
This is a mid-level developer role that reports directly to the Business Application Manager.
This salesforce developer position will help us accelerate bringing new features to our customers. Responsible for supporting on-going maintenance, as well as participating in new development of our diverse and rapidly evolving Salesforce CRM and Salesforce B2B portal applications.
The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality products, ensures consistent use of technical architecture standards, and assists with complex problem resolution efforts.

- Playing a supporting role in HHT’s implementation of Salesforce Experience Sites including re-platforming critical customer-facing mobile applications and sales enablement tools.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to upgrade/improve HHT’s existing CRM and B2B Applications.
- Working on Keep It Running issues and small business enhancements to existing applications.
Some supporting objectives in order to be successful in the role include:
- Develops customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, requirements, and company goals.
- Support and maintain internal and customer-facing applications in Salesforce instance and conduct long-term improvements to ensure compatibility with evolving business requirements.
- Follows best practices for the full software development life cycle, including adhering to coding standards, setting up and maintaining builds for continuous integration, designing, and coding enterprise framework components, and performing code reviews.
- Participates in the proficient design, development, enhancement, and support of web based and mobile web-based applications using technologies such as LWC, JavaScript, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, Apex, REST, SOQL, MS SQL Server.
Qualifications for the position
- Self-motivated, good communicator and creative.
- Proficient development experience in both front-end (LWC, Visualforce, JavaScript, REST, HTML, CSS, SLDS, and cross-browser development) and backend (Apex, SOQL, SQL, Asynchronous) software development.
- Experience creating and executing regression and/or unit tests
- Experience with web services development
- Experience building usable and scalable systems or applications
- Strong Object-Oriented design skills and experience using design patterns
- Experience with source control workflow
- Strong affinity to delivering features with high quality
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
- Good communication skills and development team experience
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience in a business-related technical field.
- Minimum work experience of two to five years of progressive Salesforce mobile and web application development.
- Experienced in both front-end tier (LWC, Visualforce, JavaScript, REST, HTML, CSS, SLDS, and cross-browser development) and backend (Apex, SOQL, SQL, Asynchronous) software development.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I – Preferred
