Functions as the point person for the Salesforce platform. Primary driving force to help retail, marketing, sales, contact center, operations and IT teams work to leverage Salesforce to optimize customer experience. Develops and implements workflows within Salesforce that support departments throughout the Bank. Creates reports and dashboards that give employees access to critical information necessary to monitor and manage performance. Assists with a wide variety of projects throughout the financial institution.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure Salesforce user accounts and ensure appropriate authority levels are maintained in conjunction with end-user position and required access
  • Develop recommendations including cost/benefit analysis, increased productivity, profitability forecasting and decreased operating costs to reinforce the use of Salesforce bank-wide
  • Work with business lines to fully understand sales processes, account opening/underwriting, business processes, opportunities for cross-selling and expanding client relationships
  • Elicit and utilize feedback to build a better user experience
  • Collaborate with Salesforce application vendors
  • Stay up-to-date on new Salesforce releases and assess how they might impact the Bank
  • Mine Salesforce data to respond to audit requests and fulfill other reporting requirements
  • Assist operating division heads with marketing plans developed by management
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce procedures
  • Serve as a back-up to other members of the Business Intelligence department
  • Monitor and resolve issues with the third part integrations.
  • Evaluate and maintain third party applications that work with Salesforce (drawloop, lookup helper, rollup helper, etc.)
  • Assist end user support requests and train employees on Salesforce functionality.
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2+ years Salesforce experience preferred
  • Salesforce administrator or developer certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or marketing-related field
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Very good attention to detail and quality control
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet delivery deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, project management and analytical skills necessary
  • Team player


EFFORT:

  • Able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Work includes changing priorities for multiple, simultaneous projects


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Standard 40-hour work week expected, though position may sometimes require early arrival, late departure, and/or weekend hours
  • Office area is open space with cubicles
  • Frequent distractions include coworker conversations, employees walking through the area and similar interruptions
