Architect Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Purpose:
Within the Enabling Functions organization, Digital Transformation and Information Technology (DT&IT) we deliver on technology services, solutions and capabilities for Bayer’s Commercial functions. This customer-facing strategic position within the Customer Platform organization, supports our internal Stakeholders to achieve a true omnichannel customer experience by applying their deep industry knowledge designing enterprise solutions.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical subject matter expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, globally;
- Lead overall solution design and oversee build work and quality assurance for the technical configuration of end-to-end solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud;
- Own the technical and strategic deliverables for all countries utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud, aligned with Customer Powerhouse, as well as countries not yet “powerized”;
- Ownership of all technical aspects of Salesforce Marketing Cloud: data migrations, data quality, system integrations, 3rd party applications, etc.;
- Collaborate with team members, as well as external strategic partners to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and design to meet business needs and understand and create key marketing campaigns and solutions;
- Create and maintain system-related documentation, such as business requirements, process flows, data maps, configuration worksheets, etc.;
- Keep up with industry best practices, technology and communication standards to continue to evolve;
- Implement innovation-minded approaches.
WHO YOU ARE
Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of applicable business experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience OR Doctorate with a minimum of 6 years of experience OR long-term applicable business experience may be substituted for a degree;
- Several years of experience in cloud implementations are required;
- An understanding web services and other technologies that can be used to transport data in an enterprise environment and interact with Salesforce;
- Strong organizational management skills, as well as motivational and team building skills;
- The ability to be diplomatic, persuasive and be able to establish rapport with all levels of the organizations, both internal to Bayer, as well as externally, is critical to this role;
- Strongly demonstrated leadership ability to develop and motivate teams under their leadership;
- Experience with all phases of the development lifecycle with focus on KPI measurement and continuous process improvement, as well as ability to measure performance of vendors;
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience as Business Analyst, Solution Architect or Systems Consultant Salesforce knowledge and experience a plus;
- Salesforce knowledge and experience.
