What You'll Contribute
As part of this team you will work on our Salesforce and supporting platforms helping to implement solutions, support, and monitoring for functionality that directly provides and enables other teams to provide modern and intuitive user experiences for our customers. You will work with other experts to deliver solutions that integrate multiple cloud applications, including Salesforce, PING, and Adobe. You will leverage your proven ability, experience, and knowledge to lead and navigate an enterprise environment.

  • Participate in the collaborative effort to ensure best of breed solutioning on Salesforce. Work in iterative sprints to design, develop, and test solutions. Implement solutions and monitoring to improve the existing platforms and ensure overall system health. Work on new product enhancements to grow our customer base and generate additional revenue for the product line. Drive initiatives and seek to achieve the intended outcome(s) of work items and work thru ambiguity in a self-directed fashion.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify approach, dependencies, tasks, and seek opportunities for automation; mentor other team members, help recruit and onboard other top-talented developers.
  • Continually improve your craft as a Salesforce Administrator by learning and leveraging the latest platform releases, solution patterns & best practices, related business principles, and technology across all relevant SaaS platforms. Attend training, participate in Communities of Practice (CoPs), and read related materials to stay ahead of the technology curve.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science OR equivalent education/experience

  • Experience working with a geographically diverse team
  • Salesforce
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Ability to manage multiple Salesforce orgs simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security best practices including sharing rules, community sharing sets, roles, profiles, permission sets, connected apps, and user licensing
  • Public-facing Salesforce Site/Community implementations (with & without authentication)
  • Experience with Salesforce Chat/LiveAgent/LiveMessage or other integrated chat and SMS tools, e.g. Twilio, Texline, Quiq, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Process Builder and Visual Flow
  • Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
  • Experience with installing and configuring Salesforce AppExchange packages
  • Experience with all phases of the Salesforce development life cycle including administration, configuration, & development:
    • object/field customization (data model)
    • deploying/testing in sandboxes—org promotion lifecycle
    • deploying/validating in production
    • sandbox refresh intervals & post-refresh sandbox prep
  • Familiarity with Dataloader, Dataloader.io, Workbench or any other non-Salesforce ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Mulesoft, Boomi, etc)
  • Comfortable with SOQL and SOSL query syntax
  • Proven leader over large Salesforce implementations with High Volume Customer Portal users
  • Proven Service Cloud expertise
  • Salesforce certifications: Certified Administrator, Certified Advanced Administrator, Certified Service Cloud Consultant, Certified Platform App Builder, Platform Developer
Preferred education, skills, and experience.
  • Salesforce certifications: Certified Administrator, Certified Advanced Administrator, Certified Service Cloud Consultant, Certified Platform App Builder, Platform Developer
  • Advanced Salesforce certifications, Trailheads, or Superbadges
  • Experience using PingFederate, PingMFA, PingDirectory, or any other Ping Identity products
  • Experience using various Adobe platforms; Experience Manager, Workfront, Target, Launch
  • Development skills in JavaScript and/or Apex
  • Salesforce change management experience with git version control & continuous integration, or a 3rd-party solution provider
  • Familiarity or experience with SFDX CLI
  • Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, ca Rally, or other enterprise-class agile management tools
