IT Business Analyst - FleetScan

We are seeking an initiative-taking IT Business Analyst to join the IT team at AGCO. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced environment and become part of a dynamic and growth-oriented company.


The IT (Business) Analyst is an integral part of the Product Teams in the Agile Software Delivery Process. The BA enriches the team in the areas of Requirements Engineering, Continuous Testing and Production Support.


What you will do:

  • Refinement of User Stories and Features and methodical support in generating ideas with Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts
  • Determination, documentation, checking & coordination, and management of requirements
  • Definition of acceptance criteria and the integration points with other systems and communication of the effects of possible system changes in cooperation with other teams
  • Contribution to the definition of wireframes and visual designs and support of the global development teams in clarifying requirements and support in estimating efforts for new developments and improvements
  • Visual representation of business processes
  • Knowledge transfer for new and changed functions for the change management process
  • Quality assurance of the implementation of technical and functional requirements; definition of test conditions and scripts and planning and executions of tests.
  • Active participation and preparation for agile ceremonies such as Product Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Refinements, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
  • Error analysis and support of the development team in troubleshooting


What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education
  • 3-7 years of professional experience
  • Experience in requirements engineering, testing and production support is desirable
  • Relevant experience in software development and solid knowledge of agile methods (e.g., SAFe)
  • Good communication skills in spoken and written English (German is an advantage)


A plus if you have:

  • Experience in requirements engineering, testing and production support is desirable
