What The Position Entails
The Sales Development Manager reports to the VP of Marketing and is charged with developing, evolving, and executing a performance-driven, high-velocity lead generation team that drives quality revenue opportunities for Omatic. Build and manage a team of 6 SDRs that generate leads for the Salesforce market. This role is located at our headquarters in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Candidates must be willing to relocate or local.
What You Will Be Doing
Develop a world-class, performance-driven, high-velocity lead generation team
  • Actively generate leads for the organization with best in class examples of calling and email cadence (lead by example for team)
  • Participate in your team’s calls, emails, follow up protocols, processes for the SDR team to identify opportunities for coaching and team member development
  • Build a team of A-player SDRs that are self-starters and driven every day to lead prospecting
  • Design and implement an onboarding program that ensures new team members are call-ready and producing Marketing Qualified Opportunities within three weeks of their start date
  • Build and continue to improve the quality of prospect contacts and database to lead to better quality outbound prospecting and lead conversion
  • Develop, facilitate process, practices and training for SDR team members that continues to deepen their knowledge base of industry sector, company products, services and insights
  • Ensure each team member, by business segment, has the knowledge-base and continued tools to execute on their job and targets successfully
  • Work closely with marketing team to implement and administrate best of breed technologies and best practices around email and call campaigns, engagement scoring and overall workflow efficiencies
  • Use data and analysis to guide continuous improvement and evolve Omatic’s approach and process for all lead generation
  • Work closely with sales to define target accounts based on territories
  • Align with marketing to ensure consistent message in all lead generation activities
  • Quickly learn through participation in calls on how to position the Omatic Value Proposition
Lead campaign setup, execution and performance tracking
  • Consult with marketing on campaign planning
  • Facilitate the setup of campaigns, per marketing plans, including lists, emails and cadences
  • Launch campaigns as planned and manage them to success
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, looking for ongoing trends and opportunities for improvement
Oversee adoption and use of digital demand generation tools for SDR
  • Serve as system administrator and trainer for Salesforce, SalesLoft, and other relevant applications
  • Seek out cutting edge digital demand generation tools to enhance the effectiveness of the team at Omatic
  • Create customizations, automations, templates and cadences in line with campaign calendar
  • Be the main point person for CRM and database leads and contacts quality, ensuring quality is continually monitored and updated
What You Will Bring to Omatic
  • Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Approximately one year of successful track record as a business development representative for a technology company
  • At least two years experience as a leader building, developing teams and a passion mentoring team members
  • Results-driven and motivated to hit personal, team, and company targets
  • Creates hypothesis for continual improvement, experiments, roots all decision making in data and analysis, learns rapidly and shares outcomes and learnings
  • Experience with Salesforce, SalesLoft or comparable, and other digital marketing tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of Non-profit technology is a plus
