What will you be doing?
  • Be the technical subject matter expert for Salesforce and Veeva CRM and other CRMs as needed, with a strong understanding of both functional and technical architecture
  • Work closely in partnership with business and functional teams to understand the business processes, document, and manage business and technical requirements, then architect solutions in Veeva CRM/other CRMs to meet these requirements
  • Work with vendors and internal partners to identify, track and resolve all application problems; maintain system and data integrity
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal partners to maintain system performance, system security and compliance requirements
  • Build relationships within Information Technology and Commercial, Market Access and Medical and other related business partners
  • Serve as Technical SME for enhancements, software upgrades, implementations, and integration projects providing product expertise and quality assurance, including leading technical design sessions, conducting code reviews and testing as required
  • Work with vendors and internal partners on product roadmaps and strategic planning for the Salesforce and Veeva product suites
  • Facilitate system related architectural reviews as needed
  • Support Business Development, Marketing and other stakeholders to articulate the value proposition of our product offering and help solution design during RFPs, RFIs and other client visioning sessions
  • Liaise with Veeva Account Management and other Veeva SMEs to stay informed of new releases, functionality and other updates impacting our business.
What do you need for this position?
  • BA/BS in Math, Physics, Economics, Computer Science or related
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • Pharma commercial/Medical Affairs CRM experience in configuring Veeva CRM, and integration experience with other Veeva modules like Veeva Vault, Veeva Network, Veeva Events, Veeva MyInsights, Veeva OpenData, Approved Email and Veeva Medical CRM functionality
  • Strong understanding and experience in implementing various CRM functional areas: Territory Alignment, CLM, KOL Management, Events Management, Sample Management, Order Management, Multi-Channel Content, Target List/Cycle Plan, ToT Management, Suggestions
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT support and project processes, including incident and change management, SDLC, project management and project portfolio support to ensure proper solution delivery, including planning, requirements gathering, designing, building, implementing and supporting
  • Ability to meet project deadlines, ability to train; ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and managers; ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions; ability to follow or give verbal or written instructions as applicable
  • Ability to participate in the selection, installation, and deployment of software supporting Commercial Operations and Medical Affairs.
  • Veeva/Salesforce certifications, including familiarity with Lightning UI is required
  • Experience with healthcare/pharmaceutical industry is required
  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud to Veeva Connector a plus
