CX360 (Customer Experience 360) is the Digital Transformation delivery group at NECI which is modernizing the way we do business both internally and externally. Partnering closely with IT Operations, within the Customer Success organization, CX360 is focused on enhancing everything we do to deliver Frictionless Experiences for our customers and ourselves to drive better outcomes.
As a member of the CX360 Team, you will be leveraging your expertise to contribute to the realization of the NECI overall digital strategy to deliver Fast, Efficient, Enjoyable, and Transparent digital experiences which empower our customers (both internal and external) to advance the world.
SUMMARY – The Role
We are actively recruiting for a Salesforce Developer to accelerate our ability to scale our business by bringing Salesforce development capability in house. This role is charged with 1) being the go-to technical resource for all things Salesforce Development related to our digital transformation, 2) implementing and supporting Salesforce Integrations with CPQ, PSA, eCommerce, and reporting platforms, and 3) supporting the development of functional specifications. This contributor will work closely with the IT Operations and Digital Transformation groups to ensure that Digital Transformation technologies are effectively deployed and supported, to support the VP Customer Success in driving the role of digital operations and how it can enable important enterprise-wide objectives for NECI.
The Salesforce Developer will communicate effectively, work independently and as part of the transformation team, and be able to implement and support our existing and future Salesforce, CPQ, and PSA systems as the Salesforce Development expert on the Digital Transformation team. This role will also work extensively with our internal Salesforce Administrators, and with contracted resources to support platform deployment and external system SMEs.
RESPONSIBILITIES - What You’ll Do
  • Design, implement, test, and support advanced Salesforce capabilities using Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Salesforce Flow, and Lightning Component Framework
  • Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development
  • Key team member and contributor for Salesforce Integrations, such as CPQ, PSA, eCommerce, Reporting, and Boomi integrations projects
  • Determine technical feasibility, generate effort estimates, and provide weekly progress status reports for Salesforce Development projects
  • Execute User Interviews, author Functional Specifications, implement Salesforce technologies, design and execute functional testing and UAT, author User Documentation and Quick Reference Guides
  • Technical owner and primary contributor for Salesforce, CPQ, PSA, and eCommerce configuration and management related to Digital Transformation initiatives
  • Accountable for successful execution and user focused support of Salesforce customizations and integrations across NECI related to Digital Transformation
  • Coordinates with internal partners (IT Operations and Customer Success) to deliver and support transformative technology integration and application development for internal stakeholders
  • Support strategic and tactical management and implementation of an enterprise-wide technology infrastructure
  • Remain current with technology standards, industry trends and emerging technologies, as well as product development and product management best practices
  • Follow and contribute to NECI’s policies and procedures for management and delivery of Digital Transformation solutions following Agile and SDLC concepts as needed
  • Support and peer-review the work of 3rd party contractors that are contributing to the development of Salesforce functions and Salesforce integrations
QUALIFICATIONS - What You’ll Bring
  • Conferred Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or their technical equivalent
  • A minimum of 5+ years’ of hands-on Salesforce experience and this must include Sales Cloud, Lightning Component Framework, Apex, and Visualforce
  • Direct knowledge and real-world experience in numerous digital transformation technologies, including cloud, software development, iterative development, data/analytics, web services, and user experience
  • Ability to rapidly learn, evaluate, and integrate new technologies within existing organizational culture and legacy technology architectures
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills
  • Software development experience with JavaScript, Groovy, and RESTful APIs
Nice to have, but not required
  • Experience with C#, .NET, T-SQL, and PL/SQL
  • Experience with Boomi, IFS ERP, and PowerBI
