The Salesforce developer is a part of the Business Operations Team. He/she is responsible for developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. The role includes maintaining and improving existing environment setup, analyzing project objectives, creating customer workflows, user support and troubleshooting errors. The role also involves participation in worldwide projects and input in setting business operations policies along with the team.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, troubleshoot, maintain and enhance Salesforce.com per business process and project needs
  • Meet with clients to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment
  • Guide users on formulating requirements, advise on alternatives and on the implications of new or revised processing analysis
  • Monitor and troubleshoot systems to correct technical issues that impede development or day-to-day operations
  • Develop, document and enforce application standards and procedures
  • Implement systems, and cloud based business application software for both internal and external clients; Look out for new application supported features and functionality, provide recommendations for improvements and keep users informed about system functionality and enhancements, including third party vendor solutions to help enhance our business processes
  • Coordinate vendor escalations and support for critical issues, acting as a liaison between the vendors' engineering resources and Business Operations team.
Required Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms
  • Understanding of web development technologies: HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, VisualForce
  • Experience with technologies including: JavaScript, SOAP, REST, JSON, Apex, SOQL
  • Solid grasp of core technical competencies, including computer architecture and design
  • Ability to project manage
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment and display flexibility as priorities change to reflect our fast growing business

Optional Sections:
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience with technical implementations of Salesforce.com
  • 3+ years experience developing in a modern high-level language, such as Java, Python, etc.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience as administrator and developer in Salesforce.com
  • SYMPHONY TECHNOLOGY STACK: Salesforce.com, Domo, Marketo, Netsuite,
Jira, Zendesk, Workday
