About the Role:

TechBridge is seeking a skilled, experienced Salesforce Architect to engage at all levels of Salesforce consulting projects, including sales, requirements, design, development, delivery, and support – both for client facing and internal projects. The Salesforce Architect reports to the Director of Engineering and has a deep understanding of how software can be used to solve nonprofit business issues.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in Salesforce, including experience launching complex, public-facing Salesforce deployments. The candidate must be self-driven, have strong critical thinking skills, and have extensive experience developing technical solutions to real-world business problems, and translating technical challenges and solutions to leadership. This role is adept at identifying the core need or problem to be solved, which is often different than the problem stated.

The Salesforce Architect serves as a Product Manager for Salesforce based Cloud Essentials for Nonprofits, responsible for planning, bringing to life, and supporting products geared towards meeting the needs of non-profits. The Salesforce Architect will require the ability to consider multiple ideas and work well with cross-functional teams to determine the best solution.

Responsibilities:

Lead Salesforce Architect and Salesforce Project Management

  • Review technical project ideas and plans; Establish project goals
  • Create or review, and approve project plan and obtain price quote and client approval
  • Help coordinate implementation of project and ensure project adheres to established timeline
  • Create and maintain project plan; Lead and participate in client meetings
  • Facilitate shared understanding of the business problem, range of answers, determine scope of solution.
  • Gathering and documenting existing client business processes and consulting with clients on solution requirements
  • Identify appropriate options to meet both financial constraints and business needs
  • Solution design – including object model, security, reports, custom APEX requirements
  • Solution implementation – Salesforce.com development
  • Manage third party Salesforce.com developers or volunteers
  • User Acceptance Testing, client training and ongoing support

Product Management – Cloud Essentials for Nonprofits

  • Work with clients on enhancement wishlist and manage product roadmap
  • Manage relationship with Software Anywhere and other development partners
  • Design and build further vertical solutions on the Salesforce platform
  • Oversee sales and delivery process – focus on low cost, low effort, scalability
  • Manage client contracts and renewals and client outreach and sales
  • Oversee product delivery to clients and ongoing client support
  • Create process flows and workflows to capture all the requirements of a project
  • Receive and answer support inquiries from clients in relation to requests, questions and concerns and Ensure clients’ requests are satisfied.
  • Serve as liaison between client and TechBridge vendors/sponsors and handle problems with vendors and issue resolution
  • Review and adjust or approve TechBridge vendor invoices

Requirements:

  • Four-year university degree and at least 5 years related work experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Salesforce, ideally with 2+ as a Salesforce Architect.
  • Experience deploying public-facing Salesforce solutions.
  • Agile, Six Sigma or similar training
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build and sustain internal and external relationships and to articulate and communicate with influence.
  • Strong written and presentation skills; ability to have a highly technical conversation with IT teams as well as simplify complex topics to non-technical audiences
  • Excellent organization and time management; Ability to manage multiple projects timelines and meeting schedules.
  • Strong self-management and self-direction to manage a portfolio of project and customers; Ability to manage multiple projects timelines and meeting schedules.
  • Strong written and presentation skills; ability to have a highly technical conversation with IT teams as well as simplify complex topics to non-technical audiences
