As a Salesforce Developer on the Ring Salesforce team, you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape the development of our services and innovate in the space of Ring Neighborhoods, Ring for Business and other Ring related initiatives. You’ll be chartered with creating and operating services within the Salesforce platform that make neighborhoods safer across the world, deliver best practices and consoltation, and transform Ring’s instance of Salesforce to the next phase of its evolution with Apex code.

 Key job responsibilities 
 
  • Lead an effort to rebuild declarative processes in the Apex coding language. 
  • Participate in technical discussions, influencing smart decisions about when to implement declarative versus programmatical solutions. 
  • Work directly with product teams and business leaders to identify opportunities within Ring processes and projects. 
  • Leverage strong communication skills and a passion for using data and Salesforce features to drive business decisions at scale. 
  • Help perform Administrative tasks when asked. 
  • Creating and maintaining Salesforce Sites and Community pages. A day in the life 

The Salesforce Developer will work closely with stakeholders on the Ring Commercial Solutions team to invent and simply Salesforce solutions to help us achieve our mission to make neighborhoods safer.

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II
  • Experience in Salesforce point and click configuration using workflows, validation rules, sales process setup, roles & profiles, reports and dashboards
  • In-depth understanding of the architecture, capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application coupled with good understanding of business processes
  • Experience leading large-scale engineering projects, especially concerning integrations with third-party systems
  • Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK and Streaming APIs
