About the job:
The Red Hat IT team is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join us. In this role, you will have overall system responsibility related to the configuration and development for the hyperscaler process automation project on Salesforce.com (SFDC). You’ll need to understand the practical needs of the business and translate them into technical solutions focused on efficiency, scalability, and ease of use. You’ll work proactively as part of a scrum team to complete configuration and development and define end-to-end process implementation strategies. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you’ll have high visibility within IT and our business stakeholder teams. Your working location will be flexible and qualified candidates based in all North America will be considered. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do:
  • Work with business stakeholders to define requirements of Salesforce.com or Conga system enhancements
  • Identify opportunities to modify requirements to utilize application best practices, provide scalability, and increase user adoption
  • Use agile and scrum methodologies to deliver best-in-class enhancements of Salesforce.com or Conga
  • Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and required ceremonies to plan, track, and code development tasks
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements via configuration, Process Builders, Flow, Apex, VisualForce, and Lightning Components
  • Work within Salesforce.com (SFDC) customization standards for administrators and developers to balance between rapid development and long-term code maintainability
  • Participate in reviewing, debugging, and resolving issues with new or existing code
  • Coordinate post-delivery activities like hypercare support, delivery documentation, and knowledge transfer to our Enterprise Support team
  • Comfortable building and demonstrating prototypes in Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Experience defining systems strategy, road-map, developing process flow diagrams, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions
  • Partner with various IT teams and business stakeholders to identify and manage dependencies of Salesforce.com or Conga enhancement delivery associated with integrations and related systems
  • Work as part of a scrum team while working with minimal supervision
  • Work with other sales cloud and service cloud team members to build integrated solutions
What you will bring:
  • 8+ years of experience implementing Slaseforce.com (SFDC) customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Ability to work on your own and manage multiple task assignments
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise judgment
  • Understand the data model related to Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Ability to understand an implemented architecture and deliver on technical specifications
  • Ability to accurately scope, plan, and estimate the level of effort for tasks, with appropriate balance of risk and effort
  • Good understanding of object-oriented technologies to develop software applications
  • Excellent comprehension of object-oriented programming
  • Experience working on the Salesforce.com (SFDC) on mobile and Lightning is a plus
