As a Learning & Development Specialist in the Early in Salesforce Solutions Career Program you will be passionate about the opportunity to develop and shape the learning journeys for the diverse talent joining the Solutions organisation at Salesforce.

You will work closely with Solutions leadership to design, build, and execute the learning strategy by understanding the current program and transforming it into a program that is easily consumable and fits the changing needs of the business.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering relevant, engaging, and impactful learning that inspires our Solutions new hires and instils the confidence, competence, and skills they need to be successful in their #dreamjob.

You will join a fast-paced environment and a highly engaging team of like-minded individuals who are similarly passionate about early in career development and championing diversity and inclusion.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong appreciation for the role of Solution Engineering and Sales within the context of a fast-moving, multiple product portfolio based cloud sales environment.

Program Details

The EMEA Early in Salesforce Solutions Career Program was first launched in September 2017 as a graduate program but has since broadened to give opportunity to other talented individuals from diverse backgrounds to embark on a career within the Solutions organisations at Salesforce. The program offers continuous development and growth opportunities centred on comprehensive learning paths, direct involvement in customer engagements, coaching and mentoring programs, and challenging career opportunities, all while being part of an international community.

Responsibilities:

Learning Program Strategy, Management and Communications

  • Influence program strategy, design, and execution of the learning journeys in partnership with Solutions Leaders to align learning needs with business challenges and organisational priorities.

  • Be creative and transformational in how you approach, develop and innovate the program content and delivery as the program grows, encompasses different sources of talent with varied backgrounds and moves to a more modular and hybrid delivery model.

  • Collaborate with different business unit stakeholders to influence design, drive adoption and measure success.

  • Communicate effectively at all levels across the Salesforce organisation from new hires to senior leadership and tailor the communication to the relevant stakeholder.

Programme design and execution

  • Design interactive learning programs from needs assessment to prototyping/pilot and implementation.

  • Coach and mentor presenters and content providers on impactful content delivery.

  • Use digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programs.

  • Create and maintain a learning repository, develop modular learning and promote content reuse.

  • Deliver effective learning (both in-person and virtual) with confidence, passion and enthusiasm.

Measurement and Continuous Improvement

  • Drive accountability, ownership, and metrics for the learning outcomes and the impact of the program.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively collecting feedback and learnings through various methods (e.g., assessments, focus groups, etc.), evaluating learning effectiveness and recommending changes to optimize the learning experience to ensure it remains fit for purpose, delivers value and continues to evolve and grow.


Experience/Skills Required:


  • Stellar project management skills. Ability to plan, manage and deliver multiple, concurrent, and complex work streams with concrete timelines.

  • Ability to connect the dots organisationally, network effectively and influence various roles, levels and profiles to drive collaboration and program excellence.

  • Previous enablement experience with onboarding, coaching or mentoring of sales-related roles

  • Sales skills in the context of discovery, solution-selling, value-selling, storytelling, demoing, and differentiation

  • Experienced in learning strategies and designing participant-centred learning to maximize learning outcomes

  • Affinity for coaching, mentoring and empowering talent

  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, agile working environment, characterized by constant change and ambiguity, yet needing to bring structure around it

  • Passionate about diversity, equality, and raising the profile of early-in-career talent at Salesforce

  • Ideally, previous experience working with / developing early-in-career professionals

  • Ideally, previous experience working with Salesforce Solutions or with similar complex software portfolios.
