We're looking for an outstanding candidate to join the Solution Engineering's special development team at Salesforce.org . As a Salesforce.org Demo Architect you will have a significant impact on our success by discovering, designing, architecting, and building the world class end-to-end solutions for Solution Engineers to leverage in custom demos.


Job Goals

  • Lead the development of the Next Generation Demos for our Nonprofit & Education industries in EMEA.

  • Identify ways to automate and improve development and release processes for our demo orgs.

  • Architect, design, and build end-to-end demos that cross nonprofit, education and global industries, that are repeatable at scale.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive demo development from idea to reality across multiple industries and product lines for repeatable demo assets and custom demos.

  • Manage industry stakeholders; lead requirements gathering and identification of use case priorities based on demand and market opportunity.

  • Project manage your delivery lifecycle from use case, feature prioritization, storyboarding, demo asset design, scope management, configuration, QA validation, to release communication and SE enablement.

  • Provide deep technical knowledge and configuration of Nonprofit Cloud, Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Pardot and other products for our global SE stakeholders.

  • Manage your development sprints in our NxDO methodology, drive progress, and lead QA for all new product releases 3x year and team innovation releases 9x year .

  • Manage complex library of assets while incorporating the latest innovation and maintenance updates.

  • Monitor and respond to stakeholder questions; bugs and issues in demo environments and collaborate with technical teams as needed to resolve.

  • Manage delivery of demo products with SE enablement in mind, handoffs, training, release notes, and short videos.

  • Evaluate performance of our products and identify opportunities to optimize.

  • Work seamlessly as part of a global team.


Preferred qualifications

  • 4-6 years of software development experience.

  • Advanced proficiency developing on Salesforce Platform.

  • Deep technical experience and understanding of the capabilities of the Salesforce platform; Flows, Einstein Prediction Builder, Einstein Analytics, Chatbots, Tableau CRM Basics, etc .

  • Certified Salesforce Admin, Salesforce Platform App Builder, and/or Salesforce Platform Developer, or others

  • Experience delivering solutions across different regions, including translation and localisation of the platform, demo data and interface.

  • Ability to build demo products with scalability, quality and performance in mind.

  • Ability to architect a solution from beginning to end to meet stakeholder requirements.

  • Proven track record of strong collaboration and communication working with business and technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to present progress, solutions and ideas to the team.


The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Experience working in Nonprofit or Education industries as advanced admin or developer.

  • Experience in technology pre-sales, as Solution Engineer, or as Demo Engineer.

  • Experience with Salesforce platform development including Cumulus CI, Salesforce DX, Github, APEX, Lightning Web Components, Flows and Salesforce APIs.

  • Familiarity with JavaScript.

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience (Community) Clouds.

  • Experience with Agile development methodology.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
