We are seeking a Director of Salesforce Engineering to provide technical leadership to the Salesforce Initiatives at Roofstock. The person in this role should have deep technical experience building solutions for the sales and service teams on the Salesforce platform with great people and cross-functional management skills.

What You Will Do:

  • Formulate a vision for our Salesforce platform with goals towards automation, improving efficiency and intuitive user experience for our end customers and internal teams.
  • Own the roadmap for Salesforce Platform core infrastructure, System Optimization and DevOps processes
  • Hire, develop, manage, and coach team of leads, developers, and administrators, focused on the applications that empower our operations and sales teams
  • Lead the architecture design for creating reusable components, workflow and processes that truly differentiates Roofstock as a leader in the space.
  • Define integration strategy for Salesforce Platform infrastructure with in-house software and third-party tools
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the other technology leaders and their teams on priorities, architecture and other technological decisions
  • Identify gaps in the processes and Salesforce practices, and build capabilities to grow and improve, including refinement of the internal development process
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of relevant technologies, both within Salesforce platform and in the context of larger technology initiatives and integrations
  • Experience leading large business-critical Salesforce platform
  • Working knowledge of Data Analytics platforms

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and/or Salesforce platform management
  • 6+ years of Salesforce Infrastructure ecosystem experience, with a deep understanding of the way Salesforce can empower the workflow of an organization.
  • 5+ plus years of people management experience and proven ability to set a vision, excite, and lead (directly and/or by influence) enterprise operations teams and cross-functional matrix organizations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong bias towards actions and delivering results
  • Knowledge of technical, operational, and cultural structures required to scale teams in a high-growth environment
  • Salesforce certifications for application development, integration and system architecture is a plus.
