THE ROLE:
The Salesforce Administrator will lead the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com deployment along with supporting our Sales, Channel, and Marketing team. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes, documentation and adoption using Salesforce.com. This individual will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop and deploy new business processes including: Channel Partner portal, Marketing automation using Marketo, and Sales support processes. This individual will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform
WHAT YOU’ll BE DOING:
Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 70+ users
Translating user requirements and user stories into actionable items. Will work independently on moderate changes and with the team on major changes.
Create, manage, and document objects, fields, page layouts, record type, workflows, approval process, validation rules etc.
Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
Maintaining user roles, profiles and security settings
Build positive relationships with our Sales and Channel Reps through proactive communication and resolution of issues and questions.
Training Sales and Channel Reps on new features and functionalities.
Testing and QA any changes with peers and/or users as applicable.
WHAT YOU BRING:
Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to document and train users on features and functionality.
Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Experience with database and data model concepts.
Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Creative problem solving with attention to detail.
REQUIREMENTS
Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
Excellent client-facing written and oral communication skills
Be comfortable with your home-based office with a global team
WORK EXPERIENCE
2+ years of experience as Salesforce Administrator or equivalent role.
