Insight Global is seeking a remote SR Salesforce Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity. They will be joining the IT organization to develop modern software solutions and provide a world-class experience for our clients customers. The Engineer will work as part of the team dedicated to maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system. This individual will need excellent technical and communication skills to interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and build the system accordingly. This person will serve as the go-to for all the technical aspects of the platform.
ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

- Collaborate with teammates and end-users to identify needed system changes
- Architect, deliver and support the Salesforce.com (SFDC) Sales Cloud platform
- Prioritize and group data operations so that user interaction in the platform is not compromised while maintaining the requirements for automation, data manipulation, and reporting
- Improve sales process by providing ease of access for critical sales information/data for our sales teams
- Develop and maintain API data integrations utilizing Mulesoft
- Maintain existing data interfaces to internal systems
- Create and maintain custom objects
- Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training, and documentation.
SECONDARY DUTIES:
Work with internal teams, including the RTLS Leadership Team, Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Contract Management, to develop and support Salesforce long-term strategy, including functionality needs for the business and related to the Sales
Salesforce toolset.
Salesforce certifications Certified App Builder, Certified Platform Developer I & II
- Prior Med Device or Pharma industry experience
- Automated unit and system testing using BDD or TDD, tools such as Postman and frameworks such as Cucumber, Robot framework
- Sourcecode management systems such as Git or similar
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD concepts
API security engineering, authentication & authorization strategies
- 3+ years of Salesforce Development experience (VisualForce, Apex, Or Lightening)
- 2+ years of experience designing and building RESTful APIs
- Prior experience with another Object-Oriented Programming Language (Java, C#, C++, Python, etc.)
- Strong SQL skills
- CPQ and Accounting Seed Experience
- Bachelors Degree or Higher in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or equivalent
