Salesforce Project Manager

Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a “Business as Usual” Salesforce Project Manager for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Tampa, FL and New Brunswick, NJ. Candidate will be required to work on-site at either the New Brunswick or Tampa facility once “return to work” is approved. This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position. The Salesforce Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, control, and close-out of tasks related to the implementation of the Salesforce CRM across all functions. The successful candidate will manage team-related information, documentation, and communications to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of project strategy and operational status throughout the organization. As a Salesforce Project Manager you will support the unexpected projects that surface as a result of a Salesforce implementation. These projects are critical to the daily operation and successful implementation of the tool across our client’s Global footprint.


Deliverables

  • Identify appropriate project strategies to meet the desired outcomes of the project.
  • Lead team members through comprehensive risk mitigation assessment and planning techniques.
  • Work with team members and cross-functional partners to develop project plans and project risk analyses for all assigned projects.
  • Communicate project status to all project stakeholders. Communication includes project meeting minutes, post-market introduction reports, monthly updates and any status or project information needed.
  • Be responsible for defining key project constraints such as scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks.
  • Clearly communicate roles and expectations to team members on a regular basis and team-wide accountability.
  • Be the lead contact for all internal and external stakeholders regarding project activities.
  • Establish and manage relationships with all stakeholders (global & domestic).
  • Liaise with functional managers or stakeholders as needed to ensure project goals are achieved
  • Lead project teams and work with management to resolve resource gaps.
  • Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one’s job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics, and compliance at all times. Officer.

Characteristics of Successful Candidate:

  • Strong knowledge of Project management.
  • Required experience with project management tools: Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence. Preferred experience: Planview
  • Experience developing detailed project and release plans.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile vs waterfall methodology (Agile preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Risk Management.
  • Should have prior experience working with Salesforce and IT Scrum teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure continuous and transparent information with a delivery focus.
  • Prior experience to collaborate with core team (IT, Training, Change and Communications, Testing, etc) to build full end-to-end project plans in MS Project.
  • Prior experience in running complex projects with strong IT dependencies.
  • Prior experience in risk/issue management from identification, tracking and mitigation.
  • Experience in working with Global teams in multiple regions and time zones.
  • Experience developing budgetary numbers for capital appropriations
