PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Salesforce Technical Architect will develop exciting solutions that change the way we work. You'll work in a collaborative, welcoming environment where new ideas drive technological transformation. We work in small, cross-functional teams with big goals, so you will need to be adaptive and adept at clear communication. We strive to produce scalable solutions, and you will need to be familiar with how complex platforms and integrations underpin business operations.
In addition, this role is pivotal across the organisation championing the use of Salesforce as a CRM and pipeline management tool.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design and implementation of a Salesforce CRM implementation (Sales cloud)
- Develop solution design and technical architectures to meet the business requirements and fulfil user stories, and leading a team of resources through the build, test, and deployment phases
- Work in collaboration with the wider team to work out suitable solutions to business requirments in line with the product roadmap
- Identify risks and issues early and develop mitigation strategies
- Provide industry best practices as a trusted advisor to key business and technology stakeholders and identifying areas of product growth
- Develop solution presentations for both technical and non-technical audience
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years' experience in Salesforce environment
- Strong technical knowledge delivering a Salesforce implementation with Sales Cloud
- Experience defining system architectures, identifying risks, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
- Experience in building and deploying Salesforce applications
- Strong Salesforce skills in the areas of configuration, custom build using APEX and Lightning
- Good communication skills – written and oral
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and also work well as a team
- Certified Salesforce Application Architect or Salesforce System Architect
ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE AN ADVANTAGE
- Strong Salesforce to external systems integration (using APIs and IPaaS tools)
- Experience with office 365 integration, CTI integration
- Understanding of authentication and authorisation using Salesforce MFA / SSO
