Job Description
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) acts as a liaison between IT Development and business functions to help build solutions needed to accelerate revenue and increase sales productivity. This Business Systems Analyst is a member of the Business Systems Team within the Central Ops Organization and reports to the Senior Manager of Business Systems.You will work in partnership with Sales Operations, Sales Leadership, and IT to develop and implement systemic solutions to scale and streamline our sales processes. You are responsible for gathering business requirements, translating them into actionable tasks, leading project definition and planning, supporting testing and go-live, and driving the related change management and enablement. This role helps to ensure systemic accuracy & usability of our sales tools. Primary sales tools to be supported include Salesforce.com, sales forecasting tools as well as other sales software and applications.Your Impact
  • Work very closely with Sales Operations, Sales Leadership and other Business Units to understand business requirements for systemic changes and then partner closely with IT Development for creation of functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and own some of the Sales software and applications used by our Sales Organization
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of role hierarchy, forecast hierarchy and territory hierarchy in Salesforce.com
  • Participate in end to end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication and change management
  • Writing and reviewing QA and UAT test scripts
  • Leading UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance sign-off
  • Understand broader business drivers to map business needs to process & functional solution design
  • Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives
  • Accountable for the timely delivery of projects as per established roadmaps by working closely with the business teams
  • Develop future solution strategies by working closely with Business and IT Development teams
  • Perform regular Salesforce.com data audits to ensure accuracy within the system
  • Assist in scheduled maintenance of the systems via data migrations
  • Utilize business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements
  • Balance relationships with multiple business teams for new solution features and technical support
  • Resolve tier 2 user tickets related to Salesforce and sales tools

Qualifications
  • Salesforce.com experience (certification highly preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst working with sales processes such as opportunity management, sales forecasting, role hierarchy, forecast hierarchy and territory hierarchy. Ideal candidates will understand the full sales motion.
  • Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed multiple, complex technical projects
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise professional manner, tailored to the appropriate audience; including both verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to work with large datasets, manipulating data and loading into Salesforce objects via workbench or data loader
  • Ability to lead and work multi-functionally within a business unit team and have strong influencing skills
  • Able to handle multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment
  • Experience preparing end-user documentation and conducting end-user training
  • Business Analysis experience in a high-tech (preferable software) company a plus
  • Project Management experience is a plus. Demonstrated experience in project conceptualization and planning
  • Business process reengineering experience, Six Sigma certification etc. is a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of experience preparing as-is process documentation, to-be process documentation, and performing detailed gap analysis
  • 4-year degree (minimum) in Information Systems or related discipline
