Salesforce Technical Architect Summary
The Salesforce Technical Architect has two responsibilities.First of all, he is responsible to work with the pre-sales teams to understand customer requirements, define the appropriate technical and functional architecture, propose the best solution around Salesforce and its ecosystem. He supports full sales lifecycle from initial customer contact and qualification through contract signature to delivery success.Secondly, he provides in-depth technical expertise for successfully designing and managing the delivery of Salesforce solutions and technologies. These technologies include but are not necessarily limited to Salesforce.com products and ecosystem solutions, APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning and integration/ETL technologies. He supports and advises technical team in the delivery of the solution.

Essential Job Functions
As expert in Salesforce solutions and integration systems, the Salesforce Technical Architect develops and drives large, multiple and/or highly solution architecture capabilities based on specific customer's business needs. Oversees holistic solutions from both business and technical perspective, considering all realities and constraints such as the technical environment of the client, costs, contract terms and business conditions.
- Designing transformational technical solutions and working directly with Delivery Managers, Functional Solution Architects and customers to meet their business requirements in accordance with industry best practices and standards of the market.
- Managing technical team to design and implement solutions on the Salesforce Platform or ecosystem including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, Commerce, Force.com, Identity, REST APIs, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning and Lightning components, Mulesoft and Zuora architecture. Guarantee a perfect integration with the IT system of the customer in coherence with the customer rules and guidance.
- In charge of the technical quality of the solution implemented particularly ensuring compliance with best and up to date practices of development, integration (DevOps) and release management.
- Providing leadership to help technical consultant team understand architecture proposed and best practices around Salesforce solutions and integration activities, improve their skills and certifications. Help technical team to improve their skills and certifications on these technologies.
- Maintaining current and applicable knowledge of Salesforce technology and IT services best practices and trends as well as maintaining the highest levels of certification on Salesforce and products used on our projects to evaluate and ensure company solutions and services are meeting the needs of clients.
- Working collaboratively and having very strong communications skills, especially in teaching complex concepts, and creative, prescriptive thinking
- Serving as a trusted advisor to the client.
Key Attributes
Deep and solid experience in building software architecture including solution development, design, architecture and implementation of technical project.- Experience in Salesforce projects with integration with complex/multiple customer IT environment.
- Ability to interface with Salesforce technical teams and customer DSI
- Strong communication with customer and internal teams.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology or related field preferred- Five or more years of technical consulting solutions experience
- 5+ years experience in developing technology solutions and salesforce platform development experience.
- 3+ years experience in managing external client projects in positions of increasing responsibility Experience working with the technology industry, specifically handling significantly sized accounts;
- Relevant salesforce certifications
- Experience working with Salesforce solutions and others significant solutions of the salesforce environment.
- Experience on integration system including new integration technologies as DevOps and test automation tools, development and software integration, with its performance, scalability and high availability challenges
- Specializes in gathering and analyzing information and designing comprehensive solutions that are flexible and adaptable the client's needs.
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
