Salesforce Application Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing Medical Device company providing innovative solutions to the Healthcare market. We have been tasked to find and recruit a highly experienced Salesforce Application Engineer to help the company drive its operational excellence while working in a young friendly and ambitious team in an international working environment.

You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of customizations, applications, extensions and integrations. You will work with a team of fellow engineers and collaborate with our Sales, Customer Success and Marketing teams to translate business needs into effective and scalable products within the CRM.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Act as a point of escalation for all Business and Marketing technologies and application technical support requests
• Ensure optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products as well as upgrade and configure Salesforce systems for optimized integration.
• Manage technical API or coding for Salesforce & HubSpot
• Understand the business goals, throughout Commercial, and ensure Salesforce and integrated technologies remain continually aligned
• Participate in the planning/analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
• Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.

Key skills and experience required:

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role working with Salesforce
• Experience integrating external applications into Salesforce (Zapier, Concur, Zoom; VoIP software and others)
• Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken
• Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems
• Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration with exceptional ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
