We are looking to develop successful long-term relationships with all our customers - and the best way to do this is to build from great foundations. The keys to every successful Sales / Fulfillment systems implementation is a commercial catalog that improves the end-user experience across all channels, and a technical catalog that addresses the needs of provisioning, billing and fulfillment systems – and alignment between the two.
Our Telecommunications or Media Product Model Architects have deep experience in product modeling and can construct catalogs that simplify the sales experience, whilst also supporting the complexity involved in automated provisioning. They understand in detail the constructs of catalogue-driven design and will be able to implement efficient order capture and management flows with Vlocity’s Industry Cloud applications.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to the customer, driving conversations with their architects and Product Marketing teams that promote product modeling standard methodologies and effective order capture and fulfillment processes.
You’ll advise and mentor complementary teams, which may include customer and partner resources, providing mentorship on product modeling standard methodologies as well as technical product assistance where appropriate.
You’ll engage with the customer and review key artifacts to keep programs on track and ensure the delivered solutions remain extendable and maintainable going forward.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • You’ll have 7+ years’ experience in a Telecom or Media Product Development environment with hands-on experience in crafting Enterprise level Product models that cross commercial and technical catalogues
  • You’ll have a good confirmed understanding of telecommunication products and services both for B2C and B2B environments.
  • You’ll have a consistent track record of successful delivery of customer projects in sophisticated environments and using agile development models
  • You’ll be a self-starter, adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager to break new ground
  • You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills, equally comfortable with crafting emails as leading a white-board discussion with customers, or delivering a functional demo
  • You’ll have the vision to help us take our company to the next level


TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Excellent Data and Object Modeling skills
  • Very good analysis and design skills with the ability to facilitate discussions and convert requirements into product model data structures
  • A good understanding of Sales, Quoting, Fulfillment and Governance concepts in the Telco Industry or the Media Industry
  • Knowledge of Telecommunication or Media Product catalog, CPQ and OM solutions (e.g. Siebel, Apttus, Steelbrick, NetCracker, Amdocs, etc)
  • Salesforce experience is a definite advantage


DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business or a related field
  • Salesforce Administrator
  • TM Forum (SID, eTOM)
  • Media vertical and ad sales domain knowledge preferred

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $100,800. You may also be entitled to receive 15% bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
