The Salesforce Center of Excellence is vital to the growth and health of our business and is the backbone to our company's internal and external systems. Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Community Cloud, and Service Cloud and numerous third party tools all operate within our Salesforce infrastructure.

As a Salesforce system admin at Egencia, you will encounter new business challenges on a daily basis across our entire business that can be improved by better utilizing our Salesforce instance. Whether you're working to make our service delivery teams more efficient, adding features to our community to better our customer satisfaction, or helping to integrate 3rd party sales tools with Salesforce to increase pipeline, what you do will provide a direct impact to Egencia's success as a company.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate user stories representing complex business problems into solutions built on the Salesforce platform through configuration
  • Communicate with the product team, developers, and user solutions teams to always ensure we build solutions that solve the core business pain-point
  • Learn areas of the business better than they know themselves through shadowing, reading documentation and asking stakeholders
  • Actively participate in reviewing peer solutions in daily configuration review calls
  • Continue growing your Salesforce certification knowledge and stay up-to-speed with the newest and best tools that work with Salesforce
  • Come up with and execute ideas to improve our infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the team, asking for help, offering help, and always sharing new ideas to better everyone

Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of Jira or equivalent dev ops/project tool
  • Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas and architecture decisions into easy-to-understand documentation
  • Strong competency with process automation and when to use each type (workflow, flow, etc.)
  • Strong desire to document thoroughly to benefit your peers and future you

Experience and Qualification:
  • 2+ Years as System Admin with Salesforce or other CRM
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification and Trailhead Expeditioner rank or above
  • Bachelors in CS, MIS, Business or equivalent
