REMOTE - Expert Application Developer - Salesforce

As an Expert Applications Developer, you will support the delivery of global Consumer Engagement Services solutions (based on Salesforce Service Cloud technologies as well as Amazon Connect) allowing advisors inContact Centers and operating companies to deliver personalized consumer experiences through multiple channels. You will be using cutting-edge AI-powered technologies enabling service automation. You will have a unique opportunity to contribute to a global Consumer Engagement Service transformation aiming to deliver easy access and personalized experiences to consumers. You will serve as a liaison between the IS/IT and business consumers and customers. You will translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into user stories and functional requirements. You will also play a key role within the Product Team to specify, test, and deploy those as a part of the CES roadmap.
Provides deep specialist guidance and support in Salesforce Service Cloud and supports the integration of solutions within various technologies of the platform
Supports and influences the design, build, and testing in significant or complex innovation initiatives
Makes recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and delivery of services through emerging technology and technical methods and methodologies
Provides the product team with technical expertise translating the business vision into technical vision
Responsible for ensuring that all solutions within their technology area are delivered and maintained secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations, including privacy requirements
Works with IT Innovation managers, Product managers, Tech Leads, Solution Architects and Business Analysts as required to ensure any solution fits with global strategic and technical direction
Liaises closely with business stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to suggest best practices
Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation – need to have an analytical mindset of salesforce
Support IS/IT Project Manager to deliver the go-to-market launch strategies for these new product initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in Salesforce Service Cloud (Classic) including a Salesforce certification
Experience working in an Agile/ DevOps environment
Business experience in Consumer Engagement Services/ Consumer Relationship Center
Developing for both desktop and UIs
Experience working with third party vendors and suppliers
Coding experience within Salesforce Service Cloud (back-end)
Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud Lightning
Knowledge of Amazon Connect or other cloud-based contact center telephony solutions
Knowledge of Salesforce Communities, Live Agent, Einstein, Social Studio, or Chatbot
Project Management experience with Salesforce Service Cloud
