Application Engineer (Salesforce)

We have a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to contribute to the success of Barnardo's Tech Transformation strategy by supporting our application platforms, particularly Salesforce. The Application Engineer ensures that staff around the organisation are able to carry out their work effectively and support children, families, supporters and stakeholders.

You will be working within the Operating Technology team and be a lead engineer in the platform administration and development of Salesforce. One of your main responsibilities will be to deliver projects and platform enhancements to the system. . You will support the Operating Technology team maintain the Salesforce platform as well as other key platform based applications to ensure a continuous and stable service for our customers and stakeholders.

As the Application Engineer you will take the lead in ensuring data integrity, structures and rules from Salesforce and other key applications are migrated accurately and effectively to new technology products. Your work will have a direct impact on the Tech Transformation strategy as you help the organisation learn from best practice ensuring integrity is maintained.
