Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum dependant on experience
Hours: Full Time Monday - Friday

Our growing marketing team is key to our business growth and ensuring our marketing strategies are firmly in place. Showcasing your skills while keeping our customers at the forefront of your mind. As a CRM and Salesforce Marketing Lead here at Motorpoint, you will help us to shake off all those outdated car industry clichés and help us drive into the fast lane towards becoming the most desired car retailer
Reporting directly into the to the Marketing Director, the CRM & Salesforce Marketing Lead will be responsible for ensuring we deliver targeted customer communications to the right customer at the right time, growing our database, improving customer journeys and increasing conversion and sales as a result. You should have a proven track record in delivering CRM programmes and initiatives. You will also need experience of implementing and managing CRM systems, ideally Marketing Cloud from Salesforce. The role is a 9 month contract covering maternity leave. It can be a home or office based role, but some travel to the Motorpoint’s Head Office in Derby will be required.
What will my Day to Day look like?
- Working with our Salesforce implementation partner and our internal Salesforce Project Team to design, build and launch Marketing Cloud into the business
- Creating an email communications strategy to ensure you deliver targeted customer communications with the right messages to hit the right customer at the right time
- Creation and delivery of a contact strategy, ensuring we optimise the frequency of customer communications
- Database management, growth and enhancement
- Development and ongoing enhancement of our customer segmentation model
- Develop and implement an email test and learn programme to improve customer conversion
- Develop and implement a test and learn programme to improve customer conversion on the website
- Build the reporting capability to accurately measure performance of emails and online customer journeys and use this insight to enhance future activity and optimise conversion
- Implement the new CRM solution and become the expert within the team on Marketing Cloud
- Understands the latest digital marketing best practice
- Understanding wider business market and performance, identifying opportunities and translating these into the communication strategy
What skills are we looking for?
- Good communicator and able to clearly explain digital marketing results and concepts to key stakeholders in the business
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to interpret data and adapt strategies to continually drive improvements
- Experience of using CRM software, preferably Marketing Cloud
- Experience designing and implementing CRM solutions, ideally Marketing Cloud
- Experience in developing life cycle communication plans
- Experience in developing a contact strategy which have led to improved conversion rates
- Creative, able to generate engaging communications and content that resonates with the target audience
- Proven experience in delivering database growth initiatives
