The Role:
This hybrid role will build relationships with teams to ensure their concerns with the system are managed and overcome. Providing a credible solution to the inaccurate data in previous instances; and the ability to rapidly respond and support users moving forward.
As a Systems Administrator you will have oversight for the provision of internal technical & data governance delivery to M&G *Global Asset Management staff (c. 500 users).
In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for working closely with M&G *Global Asset Management teams (in a hands on role) to troubleshoot and resolve system/platform issues as well as provide dedicated role level training to upskill users. Additionally, you will form the link between Business Users and Data Owners; providing content expertise for a data domain/system ensuring the right data is used for a business purpose. This will primarily involve managing data across business processes, and the data landscape.
This role will require you to work individually and as part of a team, have a high level of organizational and prioritization skills; and be highly personable with strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Maintain the current Salesforce environment ensuring it is up to date, operational and performing in line with M&G requirements.
- People management and leadership for Salesforce System Administrators in the Distribution Office
- Configure Salesforce as required to update fields, user permissions, internal templates and development of user dashboards
- Review effectiveness of tooling and undertaking diagnostic research to understand how users engage with the system
- Own and manage relationships. Engaging with teams and individuals to understand pain points; providing feedback and input on future releases that target improved business value
- Leverage Einstein Analytics capability to support reporting, and data visualisation as required
- On board new staff and provide tailored platform training for individual role types
- Support upskilling of existing users with relevant system training to drive increased user adoption
- Develop and maintain various data definitions and standards (e.g. data quality) with the steer of Data Owners, as well as the Central Design Authority where appropriate (e.g. in line with new change programmes, at both a process and system level (collaborating with Technology & Business System Owners)
- Carry out Data Quality management activities such as providing conceptual design for Data Quality metrics, rules & controls, profiling, analysis and remediation, and creating and tracking DQ reports
- Review and assess change requests from the Central Design Authority; and provide input into business cases these requests
- Support the Data Owner in steering adherence to Domain specific data policies and standards within functional team’s BAU operations and change programmes
- To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G’s operational risk.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Certification: Salesforce Administrator | Salesforce Community Cloud Consultant (advantageous) |Salesforce Advanced Administrator (advantageous) | Einstein Analytics and Discovery Consultant (advantageous)
- Ideally 2 -3 + years experience as a Salesforce System Administrator. Working within Financial Services / Asset Management sector (preferred). Using Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud. Knowledge of Shield is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple IT projects with a deep and thorough understanding of the functional team’s data landscape, business processes, technology architecture
- Ability to assess data changes and understand high level impacts to business process
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and communicate with colleagues and clients at all levels
- Must possess the ability to understand, interpret and explain data-related issues to key business stakeholders
- Endeavours to be up to date with any relevant legislation relating to data
- As this is a Global support role Multilingual would be an advantage
