Our client is a major Telecoms company who are looking for a Salesforce Capability Design Specialist.
The role is flexible on location and is initially for 6 months Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate the prioritized requirement demand of lead-to-order and configure-price-quote processes into functional/technical design within salesforce
  • Design the functional/technical capability of lead-to-order process capabilities within salesforce s for Territory Management, Lead Generation, Lead Management, Account Management, Opportunity Management, Configure-Price-Quote, Contact Management, Activity Management, Contract Management, Forecasting, Order Management, and Reporting & Dashboards
  • Prototype functional/technical designs within salesforce development sandboxes
  • Specify and/or documents functional/technical designs for salesforce development
  • Provide functional/technical guidance and quality assurance to deployment & in-life operations
  • Provide input into best practice use of salesforce
  • Lead design and/or Agile development teams
  • Work closely with sales tools & systems work-streams (requirements, design, optimization & innovation, deployment & in-life operations)

Skills / experience required:

Mandatory
  • A deep functional/technical knowledge of the salesforce sales tools & systems
  • Knowledge of CPQ tools (i.e. Cloudesense CPQ)
  • Knowledge and API and Integration tools (i.e. Informatica, Mulesoft, Apogee etc)
  • Knowledge of commercial sales productivity drivers (revenue, margin, cost of sale, cost to serve), and the efficiency and effectiveness levers which influence sales force productivity
  • Knowledge of Telco product families (Mobile, Voice, and Access/Connectivity) and the product propositions
  • Knowledge of Enterprise sales channels
  • Knowledge of lead-to-order process journey's across New/Provide, Modify, Renewal
  • Knowledge of lead-to-order process capabilities for desk and field sales teams (i.e. Territory Management, Lead Generation, Lead Management, Contact Management, Account Management, Opportunity Management, Configure-Price-Quote, Contract Management, Activity Management, Forecasting, Order Management)
  • Knowledge of sales tools & systems which enable sales to sell efficiently and effectively (i.e. salesforce, CPQ, UKB/Agent Desktop etc)
  • Knowledge of data components which enable lead-to-order process capabilities (i.e. Account/Customer, Contact, Item, Price, Assets, Usage, Contract, and Activity)
  • Knowledge of estimating time, effort and cost for the design & development of process capabilities within salesforce sales tools & systems
