Central Territory Headquarters LI

The Salesforce Developer will develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform including analyzing project objectives, creating customer workflows, and troubleshooting errors. Must create dynamic and scalable Salesforce applications that meet the changing needs of the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Meet with project managers and department leaders to determine constituent relationship management (CRM) needs
  • Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform
  • Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications
  • Create triggers, Apex jobs, and other developer related functions within CRM application
  • Write and maintain custom objects and automations for improved efficiency of business process
  • Test stability and functionality of the application
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs
  • Write documents and provide technical training for Salesforce staff
  • Maintain security and integrity of application software

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education, professional certification, and experience

Experience:

  • 3+ years working in application and software development using Apex and Visualforce plus other software development languages i.e., SQL, C#, C++, Java
  • 3+ years working with Salesforce CRM platform
  • Experience developing customer-facing interfaces
  • Comfortable working remotely with teams and clients across different time zones

Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certifications preferred

Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platform
  • Proficient in MYSQL, Apex, JavaScript, Native, and Visualforce
  • Application development skills
  • Ability to solve complex software and application issues
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong ability to design, implement, maintain, and monitor business processes/rules
  • Strong ability to clearly articulate and present procedures verbally and in writing
  • Self-starter and manager of work progress, outcomes, and challenges that arise
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and virtual conference tools (Teams, Webex, Zoom, or other)
  • Team player with customer service mindset

Travel:

Ability to travel as necessary up to 15%

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a remote office environment with travel to the headquarters on an as needed basis. Full-time position; may require some weekend and evening work.
