Title: Associate Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer

Employment Type: FTE

Overview of the Role:

The Associate Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer has a background in quality assurance and specialized experience with Salesforce and Salesforce custom objects. They will work closely with our product management, software engineers, quality assurance engineers and other Privia partners to ensure that all released content meets requirements and that we deliver quality products to both internal and external stakeholders. The Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all released code meets Privia’s high quality standards and ensures software projects are accurately documented and that coded features fulfill the acceptance criteria as outlined. They utilize various testing methods to ensure quality, including black box, white box, regression, and automated testing. The Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer works with the Product Owners and engineering team to define, achieve, and maintain quality.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Work with product owners and engineers to understand complex systems and interfaces in order to determine efficient analysis and testing approaches.
  • Write, execute and maintain manual and automated test cases for functional and regression testing.
  • Execute tests within each sprint cycle while conducting root cause analysis of issues found, and providing detailed and timely reports of test results.
  • Ensure that released applications meet agreed-upon requirements and applicable QA standards.
  • Create and maintain detailed systems documentation for Privia’s Salesforce customizations.

Additional Job Duties:

  • Maintain test sandbox environments which includes managing test data, configuring systems for specific test needs, and monitoring issue reports (e.g. bugsnag).
  • Participate in team building and driving QA efforts towards continuous process improvement.
  • Write test cases for functional/acceptance testing, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing and other testing as necessary.
  • Participate in Scrum Ceremonies, team building events and other meetings as a representative of the QA team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience working in Salesforce and at least one of the following:

    • Writing test cases and test plans
    • Utilizing enterprise-class test management tool
    • Working in a ticketing system (Jira)
    • Working on a scrum team in an agile environment
  • Must provide accessibility to private, quiet work space with high-speed internet to effectively work remotely
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • A desire to learn new technologies
  • Must be willing and able to communicate with the team via webcam, webconf, and phone.
