 Position Overview:
 Kendra Scott is hiring a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Lead to support our growing Ecommerce business. The technical lead will be a key member of our delivery organization, responsible for leading the development of high performing solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will work closely with the product owner and the rest of the cross-functional team to design new and enhanced solutions tailored to meet our B2C Commerce requirements and provide an amazing customer experience. You must have an excellent technical understanding of the Salesforce reference architecture, all platform-supporting development languages, and key technical aspects of Salesforce integrations. This role will be responsible for leading technical requirements sessions and documenting high quality solutions. Our ideal candidate must be highly organized, an effective communicator, and have an excellent track record working with cross-functional teams on multiple projects.
 
 Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Lead technical design sessions, architecting and documenting technical solutions that leverage and adhere to Salesforce platform best practices.
  • Manage the technical scope and delivery of solutions and experiences, including custom development, integrations, and data migration.
  • Apply and adhere to the organization’s engineering guidelines; improve and maintain engineering guidelines specific to Salesforce platform development.
  • Work with internal team and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Demonstrate technical thought leadership, proactively providing guidance and options for solution development. 
  • Provide hands-on, expert level assistance to developers for technical development and support issues.
  • Stay current on Salesforce technology updates, changes, community, and roadmap(s).
  • Ensure we are adhering to deployment best practices
  • Manage Site Performance key metrics and ensure Core Web Vitals are within acceptable ranges

 Additional Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure high-level code quality and design pattern and style guide compliance.
  • Engage as technical consultant with third party providers to design and implement additional platform and site functionality
  • Be able to analyze annual load testing reports in preparation for holiday
  • Coach and mentor junior developers and other team members.

 Qualifications and Skills
 
 Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C solutions development; must include StoreFront Reference Architecture (SFRA) and OCAPI experience.
  • Minimum 6 years relevant technical development experience; must include knowledge of digital commerce integration with store systems (omni-channel) and back-end systems (OMS, ERP, CMS, PIM, etc.)
  • Must have a strong background in design/development of large internet or client server systems or complete software product lifecycle exposure
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming, database designing, and the SDLC
  • Extensive previous experience in implementing technologies like: Visual Studio, .NET , C#, ASP/ASP.NET, XML, XSL, API development and REST and SOAP services, SQL server, Oracle, etc.
  • Knowledge of Integrations, 3rd party integration tools, ETL with Salesforce
  • Ability to work effectively with non-technical personnel Preferred


  • Demonstrated ability to design and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems.
  • Client-ready written and oral communications skills
  • Experience working with cloud-based solutions
  • Extensive Apex VF Controllers, Apex Triggers development experience
