Senior Salesforce Developer

We’re looking for an excellent Senior Salesforce Developer to champion and contribute to our commitments of continuous improvement in software delivery, coding practices, application quality, and agile processes within our Customer Tribe. The role will be working within one of our two Salesforce squads, to deliver outstanding Salesforce solutions, which are secure, appropriately tested, perform well, and provide an engaging customer experience.

The work that our Salesforce teams do directly contributes towards our efforts to ensure that every customer has a safe and enjoyable experience when using our products!

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will...

• Work as part of an established agile team to create new solutions in Salesforce for our Customer Experience and Risk & Responsibility teams.
• Work closely with our existing Salesforce Admins and Developers to pass on your experience and knowledge.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our code base and ensure that our high standards are applied.
• Take the lead on projects that are being developed in your squad.
• Work alongside the Lead Engineer to ensure that the two Salesforce squads are working in unison to deliver a stable platform.
• With the help of our BA, Product Owner and Agile Delivery Lead you will liaise with the business to ensure that our solutions are fit for purpose and deliver the intended benefits.
• Present your own work and the work of your squad in show and tell settings.
• Be an ambassador for learning and development and be directly involved with coaching other members of the team.

Once you are established within the team and familiar with our platform you will join our on-call rota to provide support to our 24 hour customer experience team.

At SkyBet our Customer Experience Centre advisors use Salesforce to help and support our customers. We have achieved a lot with Salesforce since we launched it in early 2018, and we have big plans to develop the platform even further! As a Senior Salesforce Engineer in the Customer tribe you will play a key role in helping us shape and deliver this.

You will use all the tools at your disposal to build and maintain quality solutions in Salesforce (Service Cloud). In addition to Salesforce you will use Jira, Miro, Slack and Zoom to collaborate with the wider team.

In order to be successful in this role you should have the following experience:

• At least three years’ experience in a similar Salesforce engineering role within a large, fast moving, preferably online business
• Full-stack experience of using Salesforce, including both declarative and coding approaches
• Experience of working in an Agile delivery environment using tools and techniques such as Scrum, Kanban, Confluence and Jira
• Ideally experience of working with Salesforce in a CI/CD environment, using technology such as Jenkins, Git, Github , SFDX etc
• As a minimum Salesforce Platform Developer I certification, ideally also Salesforce Platform Developer II
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and data sources
