We are looking for a Salesforce Functional Consultant to join our onboarding team in Chicago. The Onboarding team is the first port of call for all new Practifi clients. The team focuses on product adoption and delivering an exceptional experience when migrating clients from their old system to Practifi.
The ideal candidate will be deeply consultative and motivated to deliver excellent client outcomes. You can transform business requirements into technical solutions and deliver value to our clients while staying within scope and budget.
What you'll be doing
- Helping clients navigate the transformation, implementation and configuration of Practifi during the onboarding process
- Providing technical and functional expertise to clients whilst advising on platform best practice
- Configuring lightning apps, page layouts, custom fields, app exchange applications, dashboards and reports as required
- Providing system admin level training during the onboarding process as well as documentation when required
- Conducting research, finding solutions, or otherwise identifying approaches to requirements presented by clients in a self-directed manner
- Facilitating in depth discovery sessions and documenting decisions while keeping project plan deliverables up to date
- Facilitating client testing activity and coordinating deployment activities
- Understanding business use cases presented by clients and tailoring configuration, training and consulting activities within the project scope to meet their needs
About you
- You have at least two years experience working as a Salesforce Functional Consultant
- You’ve worked in professional services and understand delivering to statements of work and hitting utilisation targets
- You’ve worked in an Agile environment and are a natural project manager who is happy to be hands on configuring the platform
- You have a record of delivering numerous successful Salesforce implementations in a variety of industries and complexities
- You enjoy building best practice into the Salesforce platform and delighting clients
- You have a deep understanding of the salesforce lightning experience
- You confidently recommend platform tools and apps
Nice to haves
- Experience using APEX data loader
- Experience using SQL
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Zendesk etc
- Previous experience in the Financial Advice/ RIA industry
