About the Role: We are looking for a Salesforce Release Engineer that will be responsible for the day-to-day release and deployment activities involved in supporting multiple development teams, across multiple regions in a complex multi-org environment. The candidate will also assist in design, implementation, rollout, adoption, and maturation of our CI/CD pipeline. You will help create and maintain automated solutions spanning the code management, build, package, deploy, and delivery functions on our Salesforce platform. Solutions design and development may include integrations, plugins, tool customizations and configurations, extensions, scripts, designs, and models. In this role, you’ll also work closely with the Salesforce development team to help troubleshoot solutions, systems, and processes, as needed. This position is located in Elkton, Maryland.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing releasing and deploying activities for multiple internal and external global development teams for multiple complex environments
- Source Code repository management, including branch management
- Designing and migrating deployment workflows and models
- Creating, administering and maintaining automated solutions for b uilding code/compilation strategies , p ackaging and versioning with artifact management strategies, deployment including product configuration strategies
- Creating, administering and maintaining automated solutions for i ntegration point solutions with other systems or data streams, s ystem troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and applications, and suggesting and implementing approved tools architecture improvements
- Interfacing with internal associates and external technical partners
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree
- Minimum of 5 years' technical experience with Salesforce
- Hands-on experience with Copado DevOps tool
- Experience executing governance processes to make decisions, identify risks, and drive issues to resolution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with business partners and third party vendors
