Salesforce Technology Lead (Chapter Lead)
The position:
You will play a key role within a leading digital organisation to ensure the delivery of new and innovative initiatives to the Woolworths Customer Hub. Working with the Salesforce Technology Product owner, Technical teams, our Technology service providers and the business divisions you will play a key part in building out contact centre Salesforce technology stack functionality for all contact centre technology consumers. This includes the Customer, team and vendor contact centres.
This is a role for a technologist who has an understanding of AGILE delivery, with a proven track record of high performance in the technology arena, especially in the contact centre technology stack involving Salesforce technology stack.
This is a fast-paced team, focusing on providing a state of the art contact centre technology stack to our contact centres. The successful applicant must have an innovative approach to the end-user experience. You must demonstrate the passion and commitment to continually strive for excellence through a customer-facing lens.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Act as the chapter lead for Salesforce chapter leading and mentoring other technical resources in the chapter.
- Working with the Product Owner and the Implementation Partner to formulate and communicate solution options to the business & squad
- Working with the internal technology teams, our technology service providers and broader Woolworths technology teams to coordinate successful delivery of technology enhancements.
- Understand business requirements and translate these into technical solutions based on Salesforce platform
- Create conceptual and logical business solution designs for new business solutions, communicate solution design to Delivery Teams, and monitor solution implementation to ensure requirements are met.
- Demonstrate technical thought leadership, coach, and provide feedback and guidance to others
- Responsible for maintaining awareness of current business and industry issues/trends and incorporate into our Salesforce platform architecture designs as appropriate
- Maintain knowledge of Salesforce features and keep on top of new features within the force.com platform, API’s, Apex, Lightning UI/UX, Communities and declarative tools such as Process Builder and Flows, etc.
- Effectively communicate the solution to all relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate and work with system integrator(s) teams to support the delivery process
- Collaborate with the Salesforce core and flex team, Business Analysts, and business to design and deliver solutions that meet or exceed the business needs.
- Work across multiple squads and provide thought leadership to the squads
- Alignment of solution designs and strategic direction across multiple projects and business units.
About you:
You will be a highly engaged and proactive person who is passionate about innovation and the ability to deliver a true state of the contact centre technology solutions involving Salesforce Technology stack. Ideally will have a background in Contact Centre technology operations and experience working in a fast-moving contact centre environment. Coming from a technical background, you will demonstrate business acumen, excellent communication and presentation skills that will help drive success.
Further to this, you will have;
- Proven team leadership skills/experience.
- In-Depth Knowledge and experience in Salesforce Service Cloud. (Min 2 years experience)
- Proven experience in building applications using Force.com techniques and components including Visual Workflow, Apex Classes/Controllers/Triggers, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL
- Understanding of the continuous integration and deployment opportunities in the Salesforce development space
- Experience with web services development and Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/Metadata)
- Expertise with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript
- Certification and experience of system integration of Salesforce in complex technical environments
- Leadership experience of expert functional resources, with the ability to influence direction and decisions to achieve the most suitable business outcome.
- Demonstrated experience in the functional design and delivery of major Salesforce implementations.
- Demonstrated experience at presenting to Senior Executives within companies.
- A good understanding and/or experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
- Innovative thinking and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Customer-first mindset
- Experience with managing external vendors
