Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As an Associate Salesforce Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing, deploying, and maintaining our Salesforce CRM application platform and other domain technologies. Working within an agile framework, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the dynamic business requirements of our global marketplace.
You will also contribute to the application architecture, design methodology, and technology strategy alongside architects and the development lead. Your balance of strong technical skills, technology acumen, and people skills contributes to consistent, high-quality, and timely solutions for the internal business clients.
This role can be hired remote. Business operations occur on Pacific time zone.

You will be working on a small and collaborative team that works with many departments across Arc’teryx. We value learning and growth and strive to deliver the best solutions to the teams using the Salesforce suite of applications and other domain application technologies.
The team is responsible for building and maintaining our CRM. The team is organized into squads that include other Engineers, Administrators, Quality Analysts, Business Analysts and Project Managers. Engineers work closely and collaboratively with many other teams including Infrastructure, Guest Services, ReBIRD, Marketing, and Analytics.
If you were the Associate Salesforce Engineer role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Collaborating with senior engineers to develop and implement solutions ensuring high-quality, timely delivery
- Participating in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency
- Contributing to the architecture and design of the Salesforce platform, adhering to best practices and industry standards
- Engaging in continuous learning and exploration of new technologies to enhance our digital properties and improve efficiency
- Supporting the maintenance and documentation of existing solutions, ensuring they remain robust and scalable
- Working on programmatic solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Aura components
- Building configuration changes including admin declarative items such as (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, metadata settings.
- Working with large volumes of data with data loader and building data mapping processes.
- Building and continuing to evolve our DevOps process and releases.
- Supporting proactive system maintenance and code monitoring including security reviews, release updates, code reviews
- Providing documentation, training, consulting and insights on Salesforce best practices, trends, and upcoming features to Arc’teryx teams

- Collaborating with teams across Arc’teryx on projects that push our guest experience to an omni channel single source of truth record.
- Developing custom or declarative components to connect our data through our growing suite of Salesforce products which include, Experience cloud, Sales Cloud Service Cloud.
Are you our next Associate Salesforce Engineer?
- You have a bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- You have 1+ years of experience as a Salesforce Engineer/ Salesforce Administrator or equivalent role
- You are proficient in managing Salesforce security including roles, profiles, sharing rules and public groups both declaratively and programmatically
- You have experience in Salesforce Development practices leveraging SFDX, Visual Studio and GIT
- You have experience working on Multilingual Salesforce environments and have enabled translations using declarative solutions on the platform
- You have experience with REST/SOAP Web Services, Event and Bulk API’s
- You have experience with Salesforce programming - APEX, LWC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- You have experience working in Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds
- You have experience managing user setup and configuration requests on the Salesforce platform
- You have active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant Salesforce certifications - Platform App Builder or Platform Developer 1 certifications
- You may also have the following: Completed Javascript Engineer 1, Platform Develop 2, Salesforce Administrator Certifications or demonstrated success working in agile methodology, and are familiar with tools like Jira, BitBucket/Github
- You have experience in building strong unit test scripts and thoroughly test your solutions
- You have strong attention to detail and ability to create & follow documentation
- You have excellent communication and influencing skills
- You have excellent time management skills with the ability to plan and meet deadlines
- You have a passion for Salesforce technology and continuous improvement
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions

$69,000 - $86,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $69,000 - $86,000 CAD at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
