WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
Box is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our Enterprise Systems team. In this role, you will be working with technical leaders and collaborating with Business Systems Analysts to design and build scalable solutions to solve top priority business needs.

The Box Enterprise Systems team has a unique opportunity for you to bring your development expertise and business savvy to work every day! We are in need of a driven and hands-on developer with strong business skills who can help scale key pieces of the company's business infrastructure. As a member of Box's growing Enterprise Systems team, you will design, build, and support automation that directly enables the success of our GTM team. Our developers retain broad ownership over the design, function, QA, and maintenance of the products we produce. Your day-to-day will also require collaboration with Box's Engineering, core IT, and Product groups in addition to key stakeholders from our different business units.

Reporting to the Sr.Manager, Application Development this individual will be a key member of a lean and high impact IT organization with top quality people focused on customer satisfaction, superior execution and delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

M anage individual workload to deliver on committed portfolio ; identify/mitigate risks to delivering solution on time

Design and develop applications on the Salesforce platform that enable our business users to succeed

Work from modeling the data, to wrangling with complex logic on the middle-tier, and building out easy to digest front-ends

Partner with business system analysts to design scalable technical solutions to address key business problems for the groups we support

Own projects you build. Provide vision for enhancements, and triage bugs when needed

Participate in code reviews to ensure development standards and best practices are followed

Mentor developers on the team through collaboration and knowledge sharing

Proactively identify areas where new technologies can be leveraged and bring benefit to our users.

Expert at communicating features, benefits, strengths and gaps in Salesforce

Design and support automated processes in Sales systems and related integrations

Enhance data integrity through effective design, maintenance and security in Sales systems

Bring your unique experience and expertise to a diverse and passionate team --enthusiasm is a must!

WHO YOU ARE

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent relevant experience in programming

Demonstrated advanced technical knowledge in Salesforce.com, Sales Cloud, Communities, Salesforce Integrations, Salesforce.com data model, custom objects, customization vs. Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality, Visualforce, JavaScript, Lightning, Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, REST

Proven track record of delivering scalable, high-quality solutions on Salesforce

Proficiency with Development Tools and technologies: Visual Studio Code (or similar IDE)

Proficiency with Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment concepts and technologies such as Salesforce DX, SFDC Metadata API, ANT, Jenkins, Git

Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodology, test-driven, continuous integration

Thorough understanding of integration concepts, methodologies, and technologies

Open to work with an offshore team

Motivated and interested in quickly learning and adapting to new technologies

Is a GSD fanatic that thrives off of high pressure and high impact projects on short timelines

Experience with Apttus CPQ, Zuora, Snaplogic, Netsuite is a plus
