Job Summary
eMoney Advisor (EMA) is looking to hire a seasoned software engineer for our Salesforce team. This individual will serve as an in-house Salesforce Developer supporting our Marketing, Sales and Client Engagement teams. This individual will work alongside a senior technical business analyst to help solution, design and deliver on both tactical and strategic Salesforce solutions which will continue to move EMA’s Salesforce platform forward.
Job Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day responsibility for EMA’s internal Salesforce Org from a custom development perspective (as it relates to end-user workflow improvements and enhancements)
- Familiarize yourself with EMA's Salesforce implementation so as to understand existing business requirements and workflow and assume the role as the primary Salesforce developer and configuration specialist for our Salesforce Org.
- Work with the Salesforce team towards the prioritization and delivery of eMoney's internal Salesforce feature request roadmap.
- Liaison with EMA development teams to integrate new features from our existing backend software platform into our custom Salesforce implementation.
- Become familiar with all relevant internal EMA systems and external products that integrate with Salesforce.
- Strictly adhere to and support EMA's Salesforce configuration change management policy
- Assume an active role for all Salesforce related QA & UAT.
- Take personal responsibility for your Salesforce professional learning and development plan.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, ideally in a technical discipline.
- 5+ years experience as a software developer/engineer using an object-oriented language (Java/C/C#/C++)
- 3+ years experience as a business analyst; gathering requirements, documenting end-user requests and collaborating on solution designs.
- 0-3 years experience on the Salesforce Platform (preferred, but not required)
- Proven experience transforming requirements into production code
- Experience using automated workflow tools/technology
- Experience writing unit and system test cases/classes
- Experience working in an Agile Software Development Team (1+ years)
- Experience in a QA, feature testing, or UAT testing role (3+ years)
- Salesforce Developer Certification is not required, but should be achieved within 12 months of hire
