Role overview:
As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting Tes to leverage the Salesforce.com platform to support key business objectives and drive business transformation.
You will be a member of the Business Systems team and work as part of a group of designated Salesforce specialists. You will report into the Head of Business Systems but will take guidance from the Salesforce Lead at a daily, operational level.
As such, you will support the management of Salesforce support tickets received through the service desk (BAU) and support the delivery of systems-related transformational projects. By following an agile delivery approach, you will also take documented solutions to development, into change sets, into testing and through to deployment.
The role is Sheffield office based but we offer flexibility/remote working once established fully in role.

Key role responsibilities:
Act as senior member of the Salesforce team, directly supporting the Salesforce Lead and management with architectural decisions and build recommendations based on best practices.
Liaise with various teams across the business to understand requirements and provide user stories. Proactively and continually drive and update your own development and knowledge of Salesforce.
Understand and continually increase knowledge of Tes’ overall technology landscape and understand how other systems and platforms directly or indirectly interact with Salesforce.
Play a key role on larger, complex systems projects, including supporting M&A activity.
Follow specifications for development items meticulously, with a keen eye for detail.
Manage own time and priorities effectively, juggling both BAU service tickets and the delivery of larger change pieces incrementally.
Draft Salesforce technical design and implementation documents.
Recognise dependencies on other systems and outputs when providing solution designs. In doing so, collaborate effectively with other technology teams (data, BI, NetSuite, product engineering etc).
Test the development items (QA) of other team members before passing them to the business users for UAT.
Communicate openly with team members and internal customers to provide updates on the delivery.
Share Salesforce knowledge with direct team members and the wider business, as appropriate.
Provide demos and/or light training for Salesforce users where appropriate.
Act as a champion of incremental change and agile delivery. Education and experience requirements:
3+ years of administrator/development experience in Salesforce (Sales Cloud)
Salesforce certified ADM201
Salesforce certified Platform App Builder
Experience with process builder, flow and writing Apex Triggers, Classes and Test Classes
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience of liaising across multiple departments/disciplines; experience of working in a matrix organisation.
Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to adhere to agile/business processes.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task with a flexible approach to work.
Logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Experience of/training in agile IT delivery methodologies. What do you get in return?
