Salesforce Digital Product Owner (3 roles)

Location: Cirencester
You will be responsible for maximising the value of the digital product by identifying opportunities to enhance the product offering for Clients, Partners and/or other users. To assess their business value, developing cases, prioritising stories, epics, and themes and ensuring feature development work delivers maximum value and is aligned with the product strategy.
The development of the product features may be via Agile SCRUM, LEAN, waterfall, or other methodologies, but the principles of the Product Owner role will apply regardless.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Define a product vision and strategy
  • Develop the product release plans
  • Create, own, and maintain the product backlog features that deliver the product strategy
  • Provide vision, direction, and assistance to the development teams
  • Participate in regular show and tells, and quality reviews, ensuring any issues are captured and addressed appropriately
  • Plan and prioritise product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Ensure that the development artefacts (specifications, designs, user stories, prototypes etc.) are appropriate, complete, and understood by their recipients
  • Define acceptance criteria for each feature and sign off on quality of delivery in line with the criteria.

Who we’re looking for:
  • Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand, inform and influence business and technology strategies
  • Able to hold the development partners to account for the delivery of the release plan
  • Able to articulate the vision for the product and how the feature(s) being developed fit within that
  • Act as final arbiter of acceptable quality in the delivered feature
  • Keep abreast of Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends in development methodologies and best practice
Required Technical Knowledge & Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of Scrum theory and practices
  • Product Owner certified
  • Strong knowledge of waterfall methodologies
  • Working knowledge of JIRA
  • Working knowledge of other development methodologies approaches
